Since around wave 3 they seem to have dropped the skirmish mission briefs on the map sheets, so all you have are the game mechanics on the mission card.

I know they are totally unnecessary in tournaments but I find that I'm missing them. I think reading the mission makes for a more fun entry point for casual gamers, and I've noticed that the two women I occasionally play with engage much more strongly when there's some backstory to read.

Anyone else missing them, if so maybe we can send a group request to have them back in future expansions?

I would speculate that they might be omitting them to help speed up the Disney approval process. Every little bit of story content is likely highly scrutinized
