still no autowin. You still need to be in range and arc to fire that missiles, so fast arc dodgers might get your squad. Decimators might have a hard time though (unless he magically manages to get close enough and/or stay out of arc of most) :-)

hard to dodge at range 2/3 on turn 2/3. any large ship with low agility will likely get toasted, so decimators, ghost, falcon, shuttle...

and even high agility ships will likely take dmg.

of course, then you have to clean up the rest of their list with a Z swarm, which might not be doable.

also at least 1 of the Z might bite it before you actually launch the missiles

but it would be fun on that single turn

And then Soontir Fel wipes the rest of your Zs out :P

But seriously I think its a good squad. Your main weaknesses will be Crackshot swarms and Ordnance lists with higher PS than your Bandits.

Oh and also Biggs and CPT Kagi. They will absolutely ruin your day.

'Course, you gotta find a Decimator actually being played. So not in any SC with players remotely aware of the meta.

True Story from Store Championships on February 27th at The Complex in Scarborough, Maine (pool of 19 players):

A seasoned player fielded: Rear Admiral Chiraneau [Gunner, Engine Upgrade, Ysanne Isard, Predator, & Rebel Captive] + Soontir Fel [Royal Guard Title, Push the Limit, Autothrusters, & Stealth Device]

Round 1 he faced: 4x Saber Squadron Pilots with Push the Limit, two of the four had a Targeting Computer.

Round 2 he faced: Guri [Marksmanship, Accuracy Corrector, Viargo Title, Autothrusters, & Hot Shot Blaster] + 2x Tansarii Point veteran [Outmaneuver, Hull Upgrade, Hangler Cannon, & Heavy Scyk Title] (The Complex's Defending 2015 Store Champion)

Round 3 he faced: IG-88A & IG88B [Glitterstim, Autothrusters, Fire Control System, Heavy Laser Cannon, Crackshot, & IG-2000 Title] (This opponent was undefeated after the first two rounds)

Round 4 he faced: Darth Vader [Veteran Instincts, TIE X1 Title, & Advanced Targeting Computer], "Omega Leader" [Comm Relay & Juke], "Tampa", & Omicron Group Pilot [Emperor Palpatine] (This opponent was undefeated after the first three rounds)

This player won Round 1, Round 2, and Round 3. In all three instances he did so without the Decimator being destroyed. In Round 4 he lost because he tried to turn his Decimator around and clipped the edge of the play space by no more than three millimeters, thus destroying his own Decimator.

And which meta would that be? Surely not the one in Nor Cal where you only have to look at List Juggler (search NorCal) for our 14 local SC's. A Deci list has won 4 (I think) of them so far. And we're talking 30-50 player SC's for the most part here, not some 12 man job where half the field is at their first ever tourney. Nothing wrong with that mind you but it's not what I'm talking about. I am talking about 5-6 rounds before a cut to top and guys losing once or not at all in those rounds with a Deci.

That being said I can think of at least two of the guys that won with Deci's being able to take out all those Z's with their wingman and a modicum of luck. But I'd take that chance to see a Deci die in one turn. Ha!

Also, if Blount gets PS killed, game over man.

There are a LOT of Palp Deci/single ace builds in my local meta, not to mention buzzsaw Vader/Gunner ones still showing up. Killing Decimators quickly is useful, but Blount is highly likely to be PS killed by the sorts of builds I see most often of them, which renders the whole thing a moot point anyway.

Your min hit is off. As i assume you calculate that 5 bandits will hit 2 each. But you assume not a single bandit will go down vs opponent fire.

But in general a nice list :)
