1 I would like to separate my hybrid sentinels for painting. is boiling water the best way to do it?

2 I am looking at purchasing the shadows of brimstone paint sets to add more colors to my warpaints collection. I know the zombicide sets had copies of normal warpaints with and without name changes. I was wondering if the same is true for the shadows paint sets. I can't find and absolute yes or no in any internet forums, just guesses. And if so what colors are new and which are copies? It's not really a Descent question but I could really use some help with this one.

3 Someone mentioned a sonic cleaner. How well does it work? What does it cost?

4 Also I heard using a nail polish shaker is helpful to keep paint good. Less air bubbles and what not. Has anyone tried this?

5 I heard formula p3 had problems with their metallic when they came out. But now they are very good. Is this true?

I am new to painting minis and though I do enjoy it I need advice

1. Separate from what? If from the base, use the XACTO knife or such. If you want to clean them, just warm water with any detergent will do.

5. The best metallics I've used so far are True Metal range from AK Interactive. They are totally worth the high price, and WAY better any standard metallics

2 After a week of waiting got reply from warpaints. All paints are copies, no new colors in the shadows of brimstone paint sets.

1. If you mean separating the pieces of the minis itself, I recommend keeping them in the freezer for a day. Then when you take them out, the glue is usually brittle enough that you can pop the pieces off.

2. I have no idea with those paints. With that said, I've been painting for 15 years and I've found just basic craft store paints to be the best value. Other "modeling" brand paints tend to be expensive for the amount of paint you get and I don't really notice enough of a difference to count.

3. Never heard of that. I have a sonic care toothbrush that works well...

4. Never heard of that either. Generally paint stays good as long as it's out of extreme temperatures. I also maintain mine by adding a drop or two of water to it every few months. I've never had air bubbles as an issue.

5. See #2. Never had problems with craft store paints.

3 ultrasonic cleaner to strip paint off minis. to help with crevices and stuff

2 my local craft store sells Americana paints. I just don't care for the results. I've been using reaper, Vallejo, and warpaints and I like their results.
