I doubt (hope) there will ever be an SSD. The scale attrocity they would have to commit to make it playable would make the CR90 scaling look like a minor tweak.

Also, there would have to be the introduction of a larger base than large, which would require a LOT of FAQing. If they just shrink an SSD down to like 1.5x ISD and put it on a Large base I will never buy it, and if they make it legal for tourney play I am going 100% casual.

In any case, we dont need another SSD thread.

So I guess if you wanted to put on your assumption hat and squeeze every last drop of potential meaning from that response I think we might see news in the medium term.

If you want the game to grow, practically give away the core set.

You honestly need to put yourself in the store owner's shoes on this one, he has a game few seem to be buying...and then he knows why...why buy from him when you can get it from an online store that sells in at a 30 dollar discount.

Beat them at their own game, sell it cheaper and it'll take off....it honestly is a drug dealer mentality.

I bought the core set online, but then came to realize for the smaller expansions...it'd be cheaper in both shipping/time if I bought them from the LGS.

I honestly think the only thing hold back Armada from being mega huge is the buy in cost.

I came to the same conclusion my self. Almost every site i looked at the cost with shipping and time to deliver were too much. The only good place I seen was buying lot sales on E-bay really.

As for what's going on. I am not sure if they ever did anything for X-Wingvs 1 year anniversary so I can't provide a trend for that.

My old stats got broken because I was expecting news by today actually at the latest.

Since the Asmodee/FFG merger theory popped up last month that was my second go to. It helps that Adepticon is the same weekend.

Now, I may be strung up by my thumbs for this one but it was a close to a year when X-Wing Epic came out so there is a small possibility that Armada Epic could be coming. . . Not a large chance but possible.
