Could FFG make blank cards we could write on?

By BrianBard, in Descent: Journeys in the Dark

Just a thought here. If ffg made blank cards, then we could write in (with a sharpie) our own characters, monsters, overlord cards, and rumor cards.... this would be an easy "expansion" and would encourage the players to create an awesome hero based on their favorite d and d mini.... or favorite monster from the monster manual.... treasure cards for the special quest vault creation. Rumor cards to use the quest vault quests as side quests.....

What do you think? A set of all cards types that are blank for stats or on one side. You could even include a special pen for writing....

Or do you guys think that nobody would really use them? It seems that descent could be really creative for people who like d and d type adventures. The flip side is that this is a board game and we should respect the balance of the production as it is.... (but then why have a quest vault?- but then the quest vault seems to get little love today and few contributions in English nowadays).

Well, they could, if they want. But the question is, descent is actually a board game not a rpg.

Anyways, you can always do your home made stuff. Searching the forums you'll find new classes, monsters, etc.

If you want to make your own stuff, more power to you. I don't think FFG needs to give us blank cards for that to happen.

You can probably find suitable template images of "blank" cards if you search around the net, which you can fill in on your computer and then print out. If you sleeve your cards, you can just print out homebrews on paper and slip them in front of a real card of the appropriate type.
