Countdown to FFG Star Wars Panel at GAMA - 3/16 @ 11:00 am
Ten minutes before we have to wait fifty minutes into the presentation for X-Wing news!
Kind of hoping for 1 Rebel, 1 Imperial, 1 Resistance, 1 First Order, and 2 Scum ships. Kind of a tall order but I keep having to remember that the TIE/fo and T-70 were technically part of Wave VIII.
I'm hoping Force Awakens ships continue to be treated separately from "official" waves as well.
Definitely hoping we have boots on the ground out there; I seem to recall Team Covenant and some other folks shared pics during the Wave VIII reveal at GenCon. Not sure who's at GAMA though.
The thing to remember is that GAMA is a trade show, not a gaming convention. So a lot of the normal sources won't be there. Team Covenant could be there, but it doesn't look like it from their tweets.
Also, I think Armada Wave II was almost a week before they got the announcement article (though, that could've been on LFL's end).
Regular large base isn't a problem, just wings that expand to 3 feet might get in the way on occasion.
Yep. Wings down, you could literally sweep half of your opponent's army off the board with one maneuver...
The size comparison in the TFA cross section book shows the height, at fully extended, is just a little bit more than the width of the Falcon. It will need the new Large peg like the Ghost... for balance.
