So when is the NEXT big, player-attending convention?

I wouldn't expect any announcements until GenCon or SW experience. (Donno how much they are being pressured to be 'brought into the fold' to have to hold stuff for experience). GenCon is great for them since they can showoff prototype models and all.

But Gencon is nearly 5 months away (4 months for SW celebration). I doubt we will be in the dark that long about a release. Unless wave 9 does have Rogue 1 stuff they cannot reveal any time soon. That would suck.

Well, it would suck during the waiting time, but it would be FANTASTIC once it's revealed and instead of the usual 6+ month wait, it's only a month away from release.

Star Wars Celebration in July seems to be the next likely venue for a Wave 9 announcement.
