Taking Damage is indeed after the Scatter, Evade and Brace Tokens have taken effect.

It is actually simultanious with the Redirect Token's effect. However, against squadrons, of course, that is an irrelevant piece of trivia that I only bring up because Greek Knight answered the question quickly and succinctly while I was otherwise occupied
