Decimator and Defender for SC

So I have been trying to decide if I want to run a Decimator list or Brath with a couple of FOs for the next store championship. So I decided rather then deciding I would see if I could combine the 2 lists and right now I have:

Rear Admiral Chiraneau 46
Determination 1
Darth Vader 3
Ysanne Isard 4
Colonel Vessery 35
Hull Upgrade 3
Veteran Instincts 1
Heavy Laser Cannon 7
Total 100
So I was thinking that it might be better to have ion engines for Vessery then the hull upgrade but then what would be the best way to spend the remaining 2 points? I could add Moff Jerjerrod and sack him and Vader to flip bad crits, I could drop determination and add a weapons engineer or predator? Or I could drop the idea altogether and run either RAC and Vader or Brath and FOs.

IMHO Defenders really like buffs to the dice-rolls, and running a somewhat similar list as yours, I like to put Lone Wolf on Vessery and have Palpatine on the Decimator.

I'd drop Ysanne if your flying as Chirenaeu. It's honestly not worth the one evade a turn.

I thought about lone wolf for one of them but with them wanting to share targets I worry that they will consistently be to close.

I'd drop Ysanne if your flying as Chirenaeu. It's honestly not worth the one evade a turn.

Last time I played him he would have gotten 3 uses out of it. so I am thinking of her as 4 points for roughly 3 shields which seems not bad. Here is an alternate I just put together that has more survivability but I worry wont pump out enough damage

How about a weapons Engineer to sprinkle some more target locks around for Vessery? That will then free him up to perform other actions.

yeah I have considered a few times dropping the hull upgrade for an engineer, or do I just swap out Vader or Isard? I like having Vadar for dealing with interceptors tho

Ysard and Vader on the same ship seems couter-intuitive. I would try to maximise survivability or offensive output. If you try to balance both you risk wasting points.

well it's more about being prepared for multiple lists. with so few guns someone like soontir can be impossible to deal with. I think the 3 points of vader isn't a terrible investment. I mean I could be convinced to drop one or the other but that is my reason to have vader in the list
