So I have been flying this for a few days now. I am contemplating on running it at a LGS tournament. How do you think it would do?

Whisper: ACD, FCS, Rebel Captive, Veteran

I was thinking of dropping the gunner for something else but not sure. I haven't used it much.

If you're runnin Oicunn, you really need Mara Jade in that list! Give Oicunn that extra little bonus for ramming ships! Also Expose is a nice little card for Decimator's. Get an extra attack die pretty much for free!!

I thought about Mera Jade. But decided against it because of Mof JerJerrod.

Expose I don't think fits this build as much. Ruthlessness is pretty handy I have found. Gets me to spread damage to harder to hit ships if they are close enough.

Ysanne on Oicunn to replace Gunner and Sensor Jammer over Rebel Captive if you want a tankier build. Your list looks pretty good though.

Edit: One other thing is that Recon Spec over Rebel Captive can help ramp up damage and still give Whisper some defense as well.

Hum Ysanna could be useful. Will have to play with that. I have found Gunner a bit pointless from time to time.

If I take Sensor Jammer I would lose FCS not rebel captive. Not to mention most players take Focus so Sensor Jammer tends to be pointless. In my experiences.

I just flew against an Oicunn & Whisper last night: Oicunn + Engine Upgrade + Daredevil + Dauntless + Moff J + Mara Jade & Whisper + VI + ACD + Buzz Saw

I flew: Red Ace + R2-D2 + AT + Comms, Horton Salm + TLT + R5 Astromech, & Roark Garnet + TLT + Moldy Crow + Jan Ors (crew)

Whisper died fast, two rounds of combat fast. PS 12 Horton Salm + TLT vs 2-agility Whisper does not end well for Whisper.

Honestly not to many Rebel players here. I mostly see Palp lists and Tie swarms. I am a bit worried about the Tie swarms though. They can put a lot of damage on the Decimator. That's why I think I might switch gunner for Mara Jade. Stop them from K-turning on my.

What do you think about agent Kallus on the Decimator? Seems like half a waste sense I don't get to evade to often. What's your take on that?

Thus, so long as Horton Salm is within Range 1-3 of Roark Garnet, Horton becomes PS12 until the end of the phase - alternative I could elect to make Red Ace PS12 if it suited me more.

I see. TLT's are moderate. But no one flies 4 TLT lists. Thankfully!

I do have the one seismic charge. Was thinking if I bump I can drop it farther away and maybe not get hit with it myself. I did have Intel agent on at first. But I honestly forgot about it most of the time. Turns I did remember it really didn't matter.

I have flown Kallus on Whisper before. It's pretty good. But feel it might be a waste on Whisper. Whisper can one shot a lot of ships(potentially) and feel it could be a waste. I also did gunner on him and had the captive in the Deci. But decided to switch them as I never seemed to use gunner on Whisper.

The Twin Laser Turret was made for Horton. Reroll blanks at Range 2-3 + Perform this attack twice at Range 2-3. It is a beautiful combo, I don't know why he isn't used more. Nevermind PS8, his ability alone makes him worth slapping a TLT on...

That hwk is neat but squishy. How do you prevent it being primary target and shot down in the first few turns? While it may do well vrs phantoms - anything tougher I would suspect provide a problem

Kallus can be good against mini-swarms built around a single ace. Honestly, I'll stick by my original comment and say the only real change I might make is Ysanne for Gunner so the Deci sticks around a bit longer, esp. if you think you're not proccing Gunner enough to make the cost worth it. That and it gives you a 2pt initiative bid.

I'm just jealous of your Rebel light meta. Out here it's nothing but Miranda tlts, Ten Numb Manglers and Regen Poe stresshog lists.

We have our share. But everyone likes the Empire more. We are a smaller group too. Only about 10-12 of us at a time.

I just started collecting the Imperial stuff. Started Rebels then went to Scum now Imperial. I prefer the Rebels. But everything is fun to fly from time to time.

Most of us like to try new things too. Not just Net lists. But for Tournaments most go with what has been proven to win. Like I said lots of palp lists with wampa and omega and colzet. Bro bots get a lot of play. Poe, Miranda gets play by one or two people. I myself don't like the K-wing, but I haven't flown it much either. Still see Super Dash some times. We all are waiting for wave 8 to come out so we can all try some new things. Although I really don't care about the advanced Prototype. Just seems a bit much with the Inquisitor. But we shall see.

After Horton shoots using his ability players tend to pile the hate on him. Or people see Red Ace and know they have got to kill him early. If you let Red Ace make it to the end game you're not gonna have a good time. Honestly Roark is the only ship that usually ends up dying but it isn't quickly, Horton and/or Red Ace take a few shots first. Once my opponent gets sick of doing 1 damage to Red Ace and seeing it regenerated the next round they usually beat up on the squishy HWK. It feels good to kill something, however this leaves Red Ace to work his nearly-invulnerable-high-attack-value magic and wreck house.

It's not a typical meta build (except for Red Ace) but it is extremely competitive.
