Something I threw together because of a random idea- Flight Instructor works on epic ships if they can get defence dice.
Shield projectors can protect other ships while the power lasts, and a large ship with tactical jammer can give the epic a defence dice. So, screen of large base ships.
Kanan Jarrus can nerf enemy attacks, making the transports live longer, as long as he's got focus to spend. Que up Garven and Super-Kyle. While he's there, lets give Kanan the Ghost double-turret, and Zeb in the shuttle. give Zeb Chewie in case the ghost is about to go down.
Everything except the Xwing is theoretically a freighter- an epic convoy.
