Does anyone have any idea on this? I figure this B-Wing will love stress and the addition as Hera as crew really makes this dangerous, the extra B's and Z-95 are only there to get in the way of ships trying to take the B-Stress-Wing down.

So it doens't mean wants all the stress it can take? Well, that no good. But how well will the list fly?

Stresshog is basically a Y-wing, BTL-A4 title, either TLT or Ion turret, and R3-A2. His sole purpose is to double stress his targets to oblivion while not really giving a **** about stress himself. And he does it while putting out relatively consistent damage too.

Terminology aside, I do think this is a list that will do very well against stress causing lists. the FCS B-wings have consistent attack modification, and the z is a good blocker.

Keyan looks like not only would he not mind stress, he would become better with some (both his ability and wired).

I think the problem you would run into are lists that don't try to give you stress. Keyan would actually be stress starved and Hera would be wasted points. Also, he is a 40 point ship that has about the same amount of survivability as a 22 point ship, and will always be your opponent's first target.

IDK about Wired on Keyan. He'll want to spend his stress when he attacks, which means Wired wont have anything to fuel it on defense (unless you somehow get stress stacked on him). It's only 1 defense dice anyway, so taking Wired purely for its defensive utility would be a waste on a B-Wing. A smart opponent would realize stressing Keyan is almost like handing him free Focus tokens and avoid that entirely. If I had a Y-Wing stressbot, I wouldn't proc the R2-A3 when shooting Keyan. Basically, Keyan will be starved for stress and needs to find ways to stress himself (e.g. Stay on Target, Opportunist, PTL).

Better to put PTL and advanced sensors on him.

Ibtisam; just a basic stressed out gunslinger PTL Two Actions!!! Possibly three, or four if Cracken is in range. I put Dash on so he can shoot un hindered.

Free Target locks after combat on the B-Wings! Biggest goal is to get the cannons in range, close in, fire close range, the closer the better, keep Cracken protected.

That is, Focus and target lock are largely redundant with Keyan and Ibtisam, respectively, and since you can't take the same action more than once, you quickly run out of useful actions. Plus I'm not sure how much utility you'll derive from the flechettes. They cap your damage, and since you're stressing yourself you're not going to be able to outmaneuver your foe since 2 of your 3ships can't destress easily. Basically it seems that you're setting up a joust you won't win. AND Keyan's only self-stress is his dial and a one-use only card...

I see what you mean, but the use of Flechette cannons is to stress the opponents, I can fore go the elite cards on the Bs and make them slippery, by adding Expert handling, and swap Dash for Jan. This trial list only, I'm not a meta player, I like trying different tactics like Barrel rolling/Boosting in and out of the fight. Once you get into range 1 switch to primaries, TLTs are effective at range 2-3, unless they're on Y-Wing with the BTL-A4 title card, But then again, It all falls in tactics, like the 1 green straight, and Cracken handing out two actions, one in planning, and one in combat phase (then stress). This is trial and error, I could drop the mod/crew on Keyan and add an EU. The FCSs' can be swapped out for Enhanced scopes, and Advanced sensors. A little more swapping I can use Ion Cannons.

I personally wouldn't fly that Keyan. Flechette Cannon is just bad, it only works if they don't already have stress and it takes the bite out of the B-Wing. If you want to reliably put on the hurt and stress your target, I'd take Tactician instead, which leads me to Katarn; I think he's wasted on Keyan. If you're picking up a Focus token just to use for defense, you're most likely only going to be modifying 1 green dice. 3 points is just too much to spend on something you'll use (on average) on 25% of your green dice rolls. On the other hand, performing a green manuever to clear a stress and pick up a Focus token is a bit anti-synergistic with Keyan; he wants to spend the stress tokens, not necessarily trade them for Focus tokens. Other than that, Chah made a great point about the B-Wing action economy.

Here's one of my recent Keyan builds:

Leaves us with 26 points, which I used for the typical Y-Wing stresshog. The idea is that Wes strips tokens, which opens up Keyan to trigger Opportunist (1 stress and 1 extra red dice). Throwing 5 dice at an opponent at range 3 without their range defense bonus is very satisfying.

You have upgrades that contradict each other. Advanced Sensors allows actions before movements, but Hera allows red maneuvers when stressed. They cannot work at the same time. The same goes for Keyan's ability and Wired. Typically, it is more effective to make a ship really good in one situation that you can manufacture than it is to make a ship that is really good in every situation.

Try Keyan with Push the Limit or Stay on Target and a Heavy Laser Cannon.
