Belthir Cry Havoc

By New OL, in Descent: Journeys in the Dark

Hi,

I was wondering if Belthir can perform another move action during his Cry Havoc ability to essentially move twice and attack all figures moved through, or if the attack part of Cry Havoc relates only to the move action done as part of Cry Havoc? Also, can he use Cry Havoc to move when immobilized, or is this not allowed because it says specifically perform a move action as part of Cry Havoc?

Finally do you think the Nimble ability would interrupt a Cry Havoc action? I have read that it can interrupt people moving with the Fly ability but I'm not sure if this would apply to Cry Havoc because it is a move and attack action rather than just a move action.

Cry Havoc is a cool ability but it brings up a lot of questions.

Also note I am thinking of when Belthir is treated as a monster, as I have read he is sometimes something else.

Thanks.

Cry Havoc can only be used to attack 1 move action's worth of spaces- you cannot chain it with another move action to attack 8 or so spaces. Because cry havok says "performs a move action" and immobilize says "you cannot perform move actions" it squarely prevents cry havok.

The wildlander could be used to interrupt Cry Havoc, but only if Belthir is in an empty space-he cannot be interrupted and forced to make an illegal stop.

Cry Havoc does not state "whenever Belthir moves", the attack effect is only valid during the movement imposed by the Cry Havoc action.

If you gave Belthir the Ravage ability (to attack twice per turn, using Frenzy or Onslaught), then you could interrupt Cry Havoc's move to attack a figure in the middle of that move, before resuming your movement.

Thanks guys, that helps a lot.
