I started playing a few weeks ago. Been watching a lot of videos on youtube and seen/tried out a lot of squad lists(on tabletop simulator). Came up with this idea after seeing a lot of versions of Imperial aces and would like any advice/thoughts on the build.

Whisper + Veteran Instincts + Advanced Cloaking Device (37)

Darth Vader + TIE/x1 + Engine Upgrade + Advanced Targeting Computer (34)

Omnicron Group Pilot + Emperor Palpatine (29)

Ive seen Aces builds with soontir fel mainly, and you can usually get a few more upgrades on each ship with him, but I dont like how he can get blown up really quick/easy.

Ill usually try and get into range 1 with whisper and vader while arc dodging, and Ill even bring the omnicron pilot into range for some free pot shots with him (3 attack dice isnt too shabby) and blocking/bumping. first round of fire usually ends up with some nice amount of damage being put out by vader and whisper. I try and use palpatine as offensively as I can but I will hold him back for defense if i think its needed or if they focus my omnicron pilot.

I havent seen this build on any of the vids Ive watched and I keep wondering why. It seems solid to me but idk if there is something wrong with it that Im not seeing. Ive used it a few times and it hasnt lost yet, even to a brobots match. Any ideas on the build are appreciated
