I don't want to spend the last point to make sure I have the initiative choice when facing VI brobots or imperial arc dodgers. As for Guri, I don't want to use her simply because I feel like her pilot skill is too low for such a fragile and expensive ship.

That said, I feel like the list is lacking something, so I'd love to hear your suggestions.

Being a big Xizor fan I would suggest shaving Predator on Boba, to either VI or Crackshot, so you can add Fire Control System to Xizor. It makes him much more consistent shot and lets you get some big action economy to keep a focus token for shots. Otherwise, It's an interesting build. If you don't want to go that route, I'd say FCS>Glitterstim. If you don't need the PS 9 on Xizor, giving him Predator is one point cheaper than Title+GS/FCS.

I've used this Xizor Fett build a few times:

Boba w/ VI, tactician, glitter & engine = 48

Xizor w/ push the limit, virago, advanced sensors & autothrusters = 40

I think it works quite well, but it does have some 'less-than-ideal' matchups. Boba gives you an answer to high PS arc-dodgers (especially if he hits them with tactician stress) so you don't need VI on Xizor. Push the limit is tricky to use on Xizor, so I strongly recommend Predator in its place unless you are very comfortable with using push + advanced sensors.

I agree with both of these posts. Need to find a way to get a systems upgrade on Xizor.

Howdy, I recently came up with a list using these ships. Havnt tested it yet, but the goal is to use the star viper against tlts, and the firespray against aces.

99 pts. Most tlts platforms are just lvl 2, so I feel safe using Guri. I get a focus from his ability, AT and Jammer work so well against turrets, and predator adds aggression against low lvl platforms. Only real worry would be miranda. But with Boba being ps10, he can help out with that. Binayre is just an annoying blocker. I feel naked running Boba without glitterstim, and the z95 without feed back array, but alas the points just can't give me everything. Any thoughts on this? Maybe swap Guri/predator for Xizor/VI? Sure he can arc dodge, but he wouldn't have the defensive focus or aggressive rerolls of Guri. And as I said, the star viper is being used to focus on tlts, not much use of arc dodging those now is there?

I have flown this exact list but dropped recspec on Boba for Tactician and Glitterstim. It makes him more of a threat to the Aces who like to push limits...

The list worked well. Just can't help but feel that 40 points is a lot to sink into the Starviper, even if it does make it very tough to take down. I want to practise more with this list - think it could reward some inventive flying!

One issue is perhaps that Boba could go down very quickly as he is the natural first choice to target. In the couple of games I played I got a little unlucky and when you're left with only Guri, things start getting a bit trickier...

In this kind of list, you need Xizor over Guri. PS 7 makes the IG88 matchup much easier and also you have a chance of moving last vs Dash (albeit only 50/50). With guri, both of those matchups are much more difficult.
