So, these guys have come up multiple times and the biggest argument is who they should be affiliated with, well in my own opinion they should all be connected with the Scum faction (mainly due to the fact that they already have Emon) even though they did have ties to the Rebel Alliance. One way of doing this would be to give them their own expansion with the YT-2000 model and just include the base plates for the YT-1300 like the did in the Most Wanted Expansion, possibly using the family business in the title of it.
This would really open up some new possibilities for the Scum faction like giving them 2 potential pilots and titles for a Scum YT-1300 with Aeron and Ace flying the Selu and Sabra. Something they could do with these since they are would be to give it different stats than our beloved Falcon similar to the ORS and use the titles to give them uniqueness like with the Punishing one title. I'll let you awesome card designers come up with this part.
Another ship it would bring into the game is the YT-2000 which has already been seen in the Chaardan Refit art, and this ship would bring in the patriarch of the family Tomaas. Maybe you could even throw Aeron in with this one to since she flew this ship for the family also.
Besides providing new ways of incorporating an old favorite and bringing a new ship into the fold, you also bring a plethora of new crew card options and possibly even illicit upgrades, since there are 6 members of the Azzameen family that we currently know about plus their droid MK-09 that gives FFG plenty of new options for new and exciting abilities plus bringing in Emon as a crew card and not just a plot.
Another way this could work is bringing the GR-75 to scum since they also had one of those in the family fleet along with the Action IV Transport which is as I can tell one of the favorites for the scum epic right now.
So as always on here lets here what your guys ideas and issues with this would be, and see if FFG really does read these forums like we think they do and take our ideas to heart.
