TLT Jammer needed ... badly

In practice, guri can put herself in a position where soont will bump, have no shot, and/or be at range 1 under guris guns.

in other words: block with something else and get Guri to get a R1shot

Then all you have to think about is "Maybe I should have just taken 2 Kihraxez and still get that R1 shot or two"

sheesh...

I do know what Guri can do to PS1-4, but the moment she sees the PS6+ it's a 40point ship that's worth 20 points.

But to add my two cents on this ******* ridiculous topic and get my post count up, I'll say that, I currently use Paul heavers worlds list. And I win and lose with it. I'm still new to the game but I'm a very fast and very hardcore gamer that min/maxes every game I play. Are TLT's op? No! My group has learnt to deal with them.

I should start a ******* thread about all the lists I lose too and claim they are overpowered ffg please nerf.

I think we need a counter measure for the whiny counter measure. Offering no help to a statement in the opening paragraphs. Bravo.

We dont need a jammer, upgrades arent put in on the fly, they are play tested with what the current state of ships are at hand. Advanced were rubbish, Defender rarely were used, but a few waves later everyone loves an ATC Darth and maybe an Ion/Tractor beam Defender will be seen more after Imperial Vets come to the stores. People thought the same with fat han, then AT's came out which helped negate the PWT power. Maybe you just havent flown a lot against multi TLT lists, we have no idea. Maybe you can rectify it with your friends and do some testing.

I helped. Really constuctive advices that keep me going vs TLT. But for the first 10 or so topics. Right now another" TLT is bad and unbalanced, blahblahblah" really gets the worst from me :P

The problem with TLT is NOT that it is overpowered, but that it negates the maneuvering part of the game (aka the fun part of the game).

Except that TLT is the single turret in the game that CAN be outmanoeuvred. I hear people complaining all the time about how boring games with/against TLT carriers are but that's not my experience at all. Perhaps it's a function of the sort of lists I run but when I run into TLT spam//semi-spam it's generally an exercise in one side trying to fly its stiff, repositioning-actionless tanks to cover each other's blind spots and keep its fire relatively focussed and efficient while the other is trying to outguess and outfly them to dictate what ships get shot at. That's some tense cat-and-mouse stuff from where I'm sitting.

I think that game is well balanced. I think build list that you have fun with, don't worry about defense dice as much as attack dice. Focus on being the aggressor.

I have had people roll 6 defense dice and roll all blank's.
