Hi i have recently placed an order on the 1/3, however i have only received the 'order received' email, and nothing about shipping confirmation. I'm a bit frustrated as i don't know whats happening, has anyone else had this problem? All responses are appreciated, thanks.

I've place a pre-order at a well known online sight. It currently is most of wave 8 plus Vets. While I've seen an order confirmation, and also had my card charged for it, I doubt it will be shipping anytime soon. I expected as much when I placed it but the questions about what will soon happen with online prices had me worried.

Now if you are ordering ships that are out are you sure they are IN Stock? I believe most places try to keep that current and accurate but sometimes mistakes happen. If your order contained something that wasn't in stock it probably will not ship until it comes back in. If a mistake happened I'm surprised you haven't been contacted.

I'll see but I'm not in a big rush. I'm generally a "one of" collector so additional ships don't appeal to me as much. I also needed to include Vets to hit the free shipping threshold. Besides, I've already waited months for Wave 8 so what's a little more time waiting for Vets.

Now all of that also serves as a great example of why I HATE seeing things announced so far in ahead of time. If FFG doesn't mention it six months or more ahead of time then we shouldn't see these preorders so far in advance. I mean sometimes it seems I can fund a Kickstarter campaign and see my rewards (which were being funded) if far less time than FFG spends between announcing an X-Wing Wave and when it actually becomes available.

Have you tried contacting FFG's customer service? Much more likely to get a response that way then you ever will here. I'll also mention that sometimes things will get shipped before the notices start showing up. I know I've had things show up at my door long before the website had said to expect them.
