So I just picked up all of the Scum that is out. What is the killer combos and such?
Thanks for the input.

Y-Wing Kavil + any turret + Vet Instinct ![]()
Trandoshan Slaver with Inertial Dampeners, Zuckuss, 4-LOM, and K4.
Dengar with Title, Gonk, PTL, and R5-P8.
And throw in a Z.

With a four point initiative bid how could you loose?
Trandoshan slaver with dead man's switch. When it gets low on health, it's a guided nuke.
ATM, the only builds that seem to consistently do well competitively are Brobots and 4 TLT Y-Wings.
That's however about to change in Wave 8.
Jumpmaster 5000 will likely be pretty amazing: Dengar with PtL or VI is a tremendous offensive powerhouse, Tel Trevura with Hull Upgrade, Gonk and R5-P9 looks promising as well. YV-666 also gets a big boost. That ship is a crew carrier, and Scum gets a ton of good crew next wave.
Slaver + Gunner + Bossk + Zuckuss = buzzsaw shuttle from the depths of hell.
More seriously, Z or Khilrazx with Hotshot Blaster and Munition Failsafe. it only works oncem but when it doesnt work you keep it, so it's good for stripping tokens from arcdodgers, and generally punishing arcdodgers for dodging instead of jousting your jouster.
Drea with R4B11
Palob with Wired and Zuckess.
4lom with Stay on Target

You forgot EU. ![]()
Won a store championship today with a slaver carrying bossk/gunner/tactician, 2 unhinged tlt thugs and a naked binayre pirate.
Bossk + HLC + Calculation + Recon Specialist + K4 Droid + Greedo. 50 points of sheer goodness. Hits hard at all ranges. Against low agility targets (e.g. TLT carrying Y-Wings) you can quite often push through 4-5 damage in a single salvo, including some face up damage cards.
Season with escorts of your choice. Last Friday I ran him with a 49 point IG-88B and went 2 from 2 for the evening.

Bossk and Zuckuss mean you will almost never be able to boost... better just get used to abusing your hard 3 and save the points. If you really feel the need for a bit of maneuver changing you can always grab the fins for one more point, though 38 points is getting up there.
Edited by GreatMazinkaiserA really basic addition to a squad when you've got a final slot to fill is a Syndicate Thug in a Y-Wing with a blaster turret and an aggromech. First time I ever used any sort of action economy and it's solid, if uninspiring.

Good point, better put maneuvering fins on. Hey, we finally found a use for that upgrade.
Edited by MarinealverTalonbane is a killer at range 1. However he draws hate like Wedge and dies as fast, with his big target mark on his back.
Black Sun Aces with hard 1 can do some work.
Scum Boba + Kavil TLT + Thug TLT won our store championship yesterday.
Kavil, Palob, Serissu, and Bandit won a store tournament in Toronto a week or two ago.
Please, it's not all Brobots and 4 TLT Ys, unless you lack creativity and a devious streak.
Replace 4 TLT Y with 3 TLT Y + TLT Torkil Mux. Similar list but a lot more fun.

AMoral Eval
K4+4Lom+Zuckuss
maybe even some GLITTER GOODNESS STIMS
and you have a fellow that has 180' arc and can potentially ANNIHILATE ANYTHING in a volley of Deprtastic HLK dice!

I faced 3TLT Y's and Torkil at a store championship two weeks ago. I played a decked out Guri, Palob and Kavil. He placed all three Y's in his right corner and Torkil in the middle a little more off-center left. I focused fired his Torkil in the second round and took it out. I then rushed in his donut hole and tore apart the Y's. Won 100-0.

Yeah, but you'd have basically the same results vs. 4x TLT Ys. Torkil's gonna die, but he stands a good chance of ruining an ace before he goes.
Boba and 2 Y's
Scum right now has a couple 'building blocks':
2x Thug Y-wings (with or without either Unhinged or R4 Agromechs)
Boba Fett with VI, EU, and crew of your choice
IG-88 is 4 building blocks in himself (though you usually only see A, C or D when B is already on the table)
Bossk and Transhodan Slavers get kitted out in various ways too.
All of these hover around the 50-ish point mark.
Z-95 Headhunters make a great points filler if you try for a 30-something pilot like Kavil, Transhodan Slavers, or the like. Black Sun Aces with crackshot have some popularity too.
With Dengar coming, we look to have the first proper 'fat' ship that looks useful at the more-than-50pt level; the jury is out on the fate of the Mist Hunter beyond singles of either the generic or 4LOM - it's a B-wing, basically, and we've not seen much in the way of B-wings since TLTs took their '8 HP filler' role with a 2pt surcharge, so the future doesn't look bright right now.
So list building tends towards mildly Imperial in style - take building blocks, put in list, assign upgrades and filler ships until you fit 100. The problem is that while plenty of Imperial building blocks hover near the 30pt mark, so you can pick 2 or 3 of them and then fill out the squad, the Scum blocks hover around the 50pt mark - so it's "Pick two".
IG-88 + IG-88 (Brobots)
IG-88 + Boba
Boba + 2 Ys
2 Ys + 2 Ys (Infamously known as 'Thug Life')
IG-88 + 2 Ys
Bossk + Boba...
... notice a pattern? It's not bad, per se, because each list sits distinct in how it flies (having 2 Ys with Boba Fett is a very different game to flying it with IG-88 when you've got to kill Soontir Fel, see?) but it does mean you start to see 'similar' stuff a lot.
Probably doesn't help that the Scyk and the StarViper are both hurting in price and niche, respectively, while Kithraxz (and likely Mist Hunters) will suffer the same fate as X-wings & B-wings in the 'efficient filler' stakes against TLT - it means that there's less versatility in the toolbox, hence complaints of Scum being 'underpowered' even as plenty of interesting options exist. Jumpmaster 5000 will help. So will the new crew that's coming on both hulls. So would Scum Aces. ![]()
I don't play brobots, but they're basically the competitive staple
the building blocks I've found can hang at that level are
Xizor (v.i, virago, fire control system, thrusters) [37]
Slaver (gunner, bossk) [36]
Thug (TLT, r4 aggro) [26]
Kath (ptl, k4, eu) [48] - not recommended for r3-a2 heavy areas
Xizor + slaver + thug is one list I really enjoy
Kath + double thug is the other
