Custom Antagonists - Rakghouls and Leviathans

I'm running an Old Republic game and wanted to introduce Rakghouls to my players. These nasty little vermin are fairly easily dispatched and best dealt with at range but they do offer an element of risk or fear that can be beneficial to a game. Rakghouls don't do a huge amount of damage and one on one much risk to a player except for the dreaded Rakghoul disease. If a player contracts the disease he can be saved by injecting himself with Rakghoul Serum which requires a successful medicine check. He also needs to make a resilience check which if he passes, the serum takes effect and negates the plague.

I have also introduced a Leviathan to my players. In fact the guys have fought three of them now, the reason being that the first time they went up against one I was so nervous I made a lot of mistakes and I wanted to do better. The second time I messed up with the rules regarding critical hits so the third time was supposed to be third time lucky.

I still haven't perfected the combat roles for the two but I come up with my own custom stats after doing some research online, looking at various wiki pages, forums etc...

I intend to use rackghouls in an adventure once my players have finished up the first campaign I have them on.

They will encounter a derelict ship with the intent to find anything of value on it. What they find however, will be much more sinister.

Wow. Those Leviathans look quite scary.

But I definitely want to throw Rakghouls at the party. I think that these are going to have to be in an ancient Sith mausoleum that is filled with all sorts of nasty things.

Yeah they are, should have seen the look on one players face when he came nose to nose with one and he lost control of his character or a while :) It was only one turn, but I didn't tell him that, I just switched over to other group members who were somewhere else. When I eventually came back to him I told him it had only been for one turn. :)

Yeah that's right. The only thing I will say about dropping brawl is that you might have trouble getting a successful attack in. Obviously if they fail the attack then they can't inflict the disease. Ultimately the disease and their pack mentality should be their biggest advantage. Play around with it and see what you can come up with. If you use the Character Generator ogg dude created https://community.fantasyflightgames.com/topic/89135-another-character-generator/ you can create custom sheets for rakghouls with no problems.

Have a look at the Leviathan too, they are related to Rakghouls in a small degree by history and origin.

lol I'm still putting all my custom data back after the last update (i deleted it all thinking there was a problem on my end). I'm just putting in the talents now, as soon as I've done that I will upload the Rakghoul sheet. ;)
