Bodyguard doesn't see at lot of use if any at the moment. With the upcoming release of wave 8 could there be a home for Bodyguard on a Contracted Scout. Low PS so can buff basically anyone and with a crew slot can take Recon Specialist to minimise the loss of the action.

I don't know how good this will be, just trying to find a use for unused cards.

OMG! Bodyguarding epic ships ... that feels like scummy cheating.

The big scum epic ship need to be at least PS4.

Difficult to say, really. It seemed tailor made for Kaato and that didn't pan out. I personally wouldn't want it on a ship that costs as much as a Scout, but that's me. You'd need Recon Specialist for best results, and that's 30 points.

I was thinking the same thing, but looking at the numbers it does not seem that powerful for what you pay. Besides the cost, the range limitation is 1. With a lot of skill it would be a bit easier, but I feel there needs to be more on the JM5K to make it worth it.

Manaroo, for example, can double up on focus with Recon Specialist, use one for Bodyguard and pass the other one to another (or the same) ship. It is probably going to be easier to run Draw Their Fire on a Contracted Scout to keep another buddy safe and keep tokens rather than trying to use Bodyguard.

Try it out and tell us what your results were. I would love to see it work for someone.
