Dopped Spice Runners

Try to field a non standard list for LGS Casual Play

-SPICE RUNNER. TLT + Recon Specialist + Glitterstim ( 27 pts )

-SPICE RUNNER. TLT + Recon Specialist + Glitterstim ( 27 pts )

- TALONBANE COBRA. Concusion misiles + Glitterstim + Guidance Chips ( 34 pts )

- BINAYRE PIRATE ( 12 pts )

100 pts.

The idea is quite simple, knife fight with Talonbane and Pirate, while hitting the same targets with TLTs. And high on Dope, Gangsta Scum.style.

Perhaps

With recon specialist, you don't really need glitter on the hawks. Their biggest problem is not dice modification. Its the crappy dial allowing enemy ships to get into the R1 zone. Once there, they can't shake 'em and glitter or no, they die. You would be better off with engine upgrade, but then they get too expensive and at that point, y-wings become more attractive...

Perhaps this...

- SPICE RUNNER. TLT + EU + Glitterstim (28 pts)

- SPICE RUNNER. TLT + EU + Glitterstim (28 pts)

-TALONBANE COBRA. Glitterstim (30 pts)

-BINAYRE PIRATE. Deadman switch (14 pts)

Perhaps better. The elements that must be included are two TLT HWK 290 and Talonbane, all high on Dope. Not looking for a superb list, simply a funny one, but not too weak.

EU really isn't worth it on PS 1 ships, put those points into the 4th ship or invest into named HWKs.

Perhaps the main question is...how am I supposed to mantain distances with a HWK to fire TLTs in sustained fire mode?

Dakadakadaka. Perhaps running like a rabbit ( boost every turn ). A wise move coul be to run only a twin HWK + Talonbane list. Not sure.

Replace the stims with feedback. Punish any aces who try to avoid the TLT at range one.

This looks better. I would replace deadman's switch with crackshot on Talonbane. Engine is essential on a twin laser hawk to maintain firing distance (not all the time, obviously----just when enemies threaten to get into range 1). It has other uses too (like blocking or avoiding firing arcs, but those will be uncommon)

Yep, Talonbane is not cheap and Crackshot is so good... Probably I will pack The Switch because is "more fun" and my idea is to fly something not see often. Thanks !!!
