Ugh... more of that Rebels cartoon crap.
You also seem to forget the fact that Han can't be used in time period 1, which for some reason Lando can.

We don't really know what Time Period 1 is yet. Isn't Dark Obsession the only mission that can take place in Time Period 1? That mission refers to Luke as "the rebellion's hero", which is pretty confusing since Luke didn't really become a hero until he destroyed the Death Star, arguably when he rescued Leia, although there wasn't that much time between rescuing Leia and the Battle of Yavin, maybe a day to a week.
So, barring an errata to Dark Obsession, Time Periods 1&2 would have to take place between the death of Obi-Wan and the destruction of the first Death Star.
I don't know what Time Period 1 is or why Han isn't available there, but I know that there's no reason Lando shouldn't be available to work with a covert rebel strike team between his days as a smuggler and his days as an under-the-table administrator of a less than scrupulous mining operation.
So the Ugnaut tinkerers can all spawn droids.... and the droids are not miniatures, so can anyone recommend a 3rd party scale model for a droid that i can use instead of a token?
Blaise's and Lando's side missions take place on Bespin. Bossk's agenda mission doesn't take on Bespin. However they could (or not) still use tiles from the expansion.
None of them have a time period limit... which is VERY odd for Lando.
Well, Lando was the administrator of Bespin since before EP IV right? He and Bespin didn't just pop into existence when Han & the gang showed up in EP V. It's totally possible for him to have had rebel contacts before that.
So you're going to tell me that before episode 5 Lando was shooting Imperials along with some random Rebel commando team on Sullust, Yavin 4, Bakura etc?
And Leia didn't know who Lando was how?
“But he has got no love for the Empire, I can tell you that.” Han Solo regarding Lando in The Empire Strikes Back.

R2-D2 seems like a solid proxy for the first droid
Wow love the content !
Think we will see jaba palace in the tiles ?

My exact thoughts as well. It just depends how many token there are. I'm guessing two tinkerers with one token each in which case buying a couple of extra R2-D2 packs to paint in a nice scrap theme would be more than reasonable.

Well the box comes with 3 Ugnaughts and I imagine each will have 1 token each. Or more if the rules require it.
I'm going to use my old WOTC R-unti minis for the junk droid. I even have one that I don't like the paint job for that I'll happily make look junkier!
The Ugnaughts seem like a great spawner for droids to go and contest objectives or be physical walls for HKs or Others to hide behind. I'll probably plop mine down next to a terminal and send out his followers from there. (Add Punishing Strike to you list and you can allow the Junk Droids to stun)
Lando is a very self sufficient figure at a competitive cost, I think I'd pair him with Leia to be a constant annoyance to my enemy while my Troopers move around the map.
ISB infiltrators and spy mechanics seem great for messing with your opponent's head and deck, and if you place them in a hallway, they could keep it seriously locked down with 2 attacks each. I'd actually try to set them up on opposite edges or end of the hallway, so they both attack but the enemy has to choose where to engage and couldn't hit both at once with cleave or Blast.
Honestly, at 6 points, Blaise is a steal and I'll run him simply for the fact of his dice pool + leader. He's the most competitively priced "leaders" the Imperials have up to now.

Infiltrators can only get three attacks total from the two figures, not four. The ability has a limit of once per group per round (not even activation, unfortunately, so can't use change of plans to trigger it on the same group with a second activation).
Lando's side mission in the figure pack is Grey... which means its probably not a mission you can get him as an ally, but rather just a mission set on Bespin - which is extremely plausible... he's neutral before the events of Episode 5, trying to keep under the Empire's radar, so there could easily be reasons for Rebel spies and agents to move through Bespin on their various missions.
His green side mission card isn't shown, will likely be included in the main box, and will probably have a period restriction.
I assume that the face-down Imperial deployment card in the Agent Blaise preview is his campaign version, since the visible card is skirmish-only. Do we know anything yet about his campaign special abilities?
Nope, what you see in the images is what we know - more details will come as they release individual previews for each figure pack. This is basically just the announcement and not a proper preview.
I would guess that this one is set up like Twin Shadows, and the mission you recruit Lando in is built into the campaign the same was Solo was. If its any indication, we wont know what the time period is for his green mission until somebody cracks the box for the first time.

Very interesting find.
Yeah the ISB agents are a two figure group that gets three attacks each round as long as you pull it off right.
I think it's four attacks.

It's definitely only three. There are two in the group and ordinarily each one can only attack once; the special action can let one of them order the other to attack a second time, but the special action explicitly says it can only be used once per group per round, so the other cannot also use that ability. Two normal + one bonus = three per round.
Sorry, somehow I missed that last sentence ...
It looks like the eISB's might have a surge: hide, focus. That would mean you could try and use the coordinated attack to focus the eISB for his regular attack. Still not sure about them, the fact that they will need to stick together and that the ability is useless once the other is dead (in skirmish at least) means that they aren't super good. That being said I think they could be really good in campaign where you can get a buddy back more easily.
Well, "stick together", if you're playing the cantina for example, you could have one coming from the top entrance while one comes up from the bottom, and have the same figure in sight.
Just had a thought, I think I'd happily run Wing Guards with Fett, he always suffered from poor damage that a squad group would make up for as well had make a defensive firing line.
Fine top see Lando and Bossk, however I would have like the imperial Agents to have helmets on.
Anyone else notice that the Skirmish Upgrade for Cross-Training is an Elite card?
Limit 2!
(Makes me wish they did that for Vader's Finest)
I can't tell 100%, but their first square (for Elite version) looks like an "ile" which might make these guys "Mobile" too...which could make that very cool inregards to gameplay.
