Hera and Navigator do not work together that well since the card text of Navigator does not allow you to rotate dial to red maneuver - even though Hera would allow you to do red move while stressed. [edit: If you dial in a red move, you could do navigator to other moves so it has some functionality.] Stay on target has much better synergy and flexibility with Hera.

That's Hera as a crew card

Hera as a pilot allows you to rotate your dial to another maneuver if you do a green or red maneuver provided they are the same difficulty

combine that with navigator all of her forwards and banks are available if you plug in a green or white maneuver

and all of her turns are available if you plug in a red

The reason these combos don't work out as much as they should is the same reason imperial Boba is marginal - if you're a good enough player the need to change your dial is irrelevant.

If you have enough PS it might matter as a substitute for arc-hunting against boosters, but the ships, PS, and abilities haven't worked out that way in the past.

Maybe this time they will, but with experience to date... I wouldn't bet the farm on it.

of course, nothing we could ever do would ever approximate the horror of calling Chiraneau "chirpy" when you could abbreviate it to something far more understandable such as RAC (Rear admirable chiraneau)
