That's also part of the reason they changed their distribution rules. With the Winter kit, a single seller on eBay would have twenty or twenty-five of the single copy item for sale, meaning they were somehow able to purchase twenty-plus tournament kits. Heck, I had a friend of mine with an old e-figures account order me a winter kit just so I could get the stuff, since no one near me was running a tournament I could attend. It made them significantly less unique to have them so readily available.

The downside is, now, people who don't live near an LGS that runs tourneys/leagues will have to pay out the nose for the goodies.

My stores don't bother hanging them. Sometimes, the posters are handed out as prizes, sometimes just given to whoever wants it.

I hand out the posters at the end to anyone who wants them. usually no one so i have them all except for the very first kit that was put out. it makes me sad. I have a ton of WM event posters on the wall in my game room, eventually ill add all my Armada posters.

The AF2A has an alt art card. Literally the least-used ship in the entire game, bar none. I see more Glad-II's than AF2A's. I can't remember the last time I saw one on the table.

Look at Apparent Rarity...

The Assault Frigate has one Alt Art Card (and one could argue it was done to encourage people to try to use them more often)

The Gladiator II now has an Alt Art Card (and one could argue as above as well...)

... Same as with the Nebulon-B Escort Card (which is popular as Yavaris, but less so as Salvation)

Granted, my argument falls apart with the Victory Alt Art Card, as I honestly don't know which one that is...

... The ISD-II for the Massing at Sullust Event was something different... Because out of everyone who got those cards, only a small fraction of those players actually Got the ISD to be able to use it immediately... it was more Commemerative than anything else - which is why it actually says the Massing of Sullust on the Card, rather than just being Plain Jane like the other Alt-Art Cards...

I figure they'll get to them eventually - Corvettes Included...
