I see the summer kit preorder went up. The spring kit doesn't have the last plastic command dial token in it, nor does the summer. Is FFG not producing plastic tokens for the last command?

Still confused by lack of tokens, but cant be mad with such a badass alt art series. Slave one card art looks amazing, Xi7's for everyone is a great choice.

yea i have the massing ISD2 card so the ISD1 card is super sweet as i just made a list using 1 of each.

Well, the inclusion of the XI7s demonstrates that FFG has not created a cynical mechanism to force you to buy ships you do not need to get the cards that you do.

(Which is a bit cold comfort after having bought two Neb-Bs, but oh well - it could be worse - such as having bought the X-Wing CR90 just for the C-3PO card, only to have it included in a tournament kit two years later. Okay - so maybe it suggests that FFG is sensitive to the charge that they might have such a mechanism, and so they make the XI7s available just after their cynical ploy worked.)

But, like others here, the lack of engineering tokens does annoy me mightily. Did something happen with the supplier of those tokens that made the deal fall through at the very end? Odd.

Also, I'm in agreement with BergerFett that medals are cooler than coins. You can wear them like bling.

It's a cynical mechanism to get people to show up at LGS'...

If I've learned anything about FFG is that sooner or latter the really popular cards are likely to end up in another expansion/kit somehow. Advanced Sensors were included in the E-Wing, Push the Limit in Imperial Aces, C-3PO in the Store Championship kit, XI7's in the summer kit...

So if you're willing to wait, you will likely find some way to get the card you want from some other place.

That happens. Some kits are Rebel-Centric, Some Kits are Imperial Centric...

I mean, the Spring Kit was MC80 Assault and Han Solo, with Leading Shots.

I guess so, but you still have to go through Store Champs, Spring Kits, Regionals, and your first Summer Kit without the XI7s. I have no regrets in buying the Nebs that I did, as those XI7s have been invaluable during Store Champ season.

That being said, I'm really glad OP has been giving up such useful cards, and it's great more players can have greater access to them. Leading Shots and XI7s are great starts, and hopefully we'll see Turbolaser Reroutes, Flight Controllers, and other underrepresented quality cards soon.

I wish we could just order these tournament kits as customers for $$
