I'm way more interested in X Wing (at the moment) than Armada because of the ability to get people to play. I think Armada is great, but if the only people you can get to play is yourself, it's almost a why bother thing.

That and all the OT at work has really clamped down on my free time for gaming.

Bingo! So, this game has been out about ONE year and people are freaking out?

Just look at Netrunner which has been out a few years are the sheer magnitude of cards out. It is overwhelming and newcomers would not readily jump in competitively. I prefer only one wave in an entire year vs rushed unbalanced stuff constantly being released.

I think people could get behind one wave a year. But it would need to be substantial and communicated that that was the plan
