Bespin!

Great announcements, great content, great thread except all of the trolling. Why do you guys keep feeding him and why haven't the admins removed his toxic but yet?

Take your tilted opinion to Facebook.

I think this is the best looking expansion to date visually, and with Lando and Bossk it is really hard to beat.. like Boba was awesome to but comeon... Lando AND Bossk?

Loving the Rebels reference as well, little foreshadowing?

My opinion is trolling, but you calling me toxic and a troll isn't?

How about YOU take your 'tilted' opinion to Facebook?

Cotton-Headed-Ninny-Muggins!

Anyone else thinking about cutting of the head of agent Blaise and cutting the helmet out and gluing it on? Then maybe boiling some water to move the fist arm and move it down to his side? think that would work?

It was suggested somewhere else. But then he has a second helmet in his arms.

At this point someone could make a fortune just selling the (future) scout troopers in single and painted black.

I meant cutting the actual helmet in his arms out and using that, so then he is just holding his gun...and trying to move the arm so it doesn't look like he is just shaking his fist at you...

Obviously the right answer is to cut Blaise's head off, cut the helmet out, glue the helmet to where the head was, then put the head under his arm.

That's what everyone was thinking, right?

...

Right?

Wow, Bossk embarrasses IG-88 in terms of power, despite the latter being 150% of the cost. Passive +2 damage, AoE secondary attack that ignores defensive dice and can hand out strain, passive Recover, passive negative condition removal etc. Ignoring the difference in mobility he might be better than Boba Fett.

FFG is finally getting around to making uniques worth their points

Yeah he's better than Boba relative to his cost, three attack dice and 6 speed still makes Boba a great unit. But man, that built in +2 damage is insane. FFG finally realized that no one wants to sink more than 10 points into a single unit. Really glad we're starting to get strong uniques at affordable price points, I feel like that gives the games a lot more flavor.

But I feel like the main thing that's missing from the game as a whole is support units for Scum. Without a cheap, 2-3 cost support unit like gideon/3P0/Imperial officer, it just feels like there's something obviously absent from the Scum faction. I get that it's not really in line with Mercs thematically, since they're bounty hunters that work a lone and all that, which I imagine is why we're missing something for that role. Even something like Luke that offers an AOE bonus to friendlies, maybe something like Xizor. That's about the only thing holding me back from playing Scum competitively right now.

The new guy who creates junk droids might help here as they can interact and hold far objectives without much downside.

The new Wing Troopers will help a bit here since we'll presumably be similar to Stormtroopers that you can separate to control objectives.

The guy who won worlds last year (I forget his name) said in an interview that he was looking to create a Scum support unit too so I hope that more help is on the way so we can stop splashing Gideon.

Yeah those Ugnaught tinkerers seem interesting. I don't know how effective they'll be but it's a cool mechanic.

I hadn't heard that about the guy who won worlds, that's good to hear. I'll be looking out for that.

WHERE THE HECK IS LOBOT!!!!!

If Lobot was italian and trying to introduce himself, would he say: "Lobot a me"?

Maybe lobot will be the scum support unit.

I also find myself wondering why Lando looks like Cleveland Brown.

I love the new Force user/spy hero!

I am buying this for the Hero!

Also, Bossk!!!

Perhaps this is the opening of the floodgates for new info?

I don't care for the Agent Blaise pose though. Helmet off is one thing but the fist in the air... I don't care for it.

Agent Blaise, now with "Get off my lawn!" pose.

I can't wait to get that Agent Blaise figure an 'adjust' the model to have a raised middle finger. FFG really missed a trick with that!

That was my first thought, too. And I will have to remove the helmet under his arm and replace his head.

For those who are good at cutting and gluing, and want to make Agent Blaise be in full scout trooper armor, you could just cut off the head of the E-WEB turret scout trooper and the head of Agent Blaise, glue the removed scout trooper helmet onto Agent Blaise, and boom. You've got him in full armor.

That still leaves you with an extra helmet in Blaise's arm though. And a headless E-WEB gunner.

Or a headless SWM mini.

Regarding the Ithorian, what I looked up on www.howtosexanithoriansoyoudontembarrassyourselfinconversation.com was that ithorian males have on bump behind their heads and females have two. That means out character, under that odd looking ballroom gown, is a dude.

Well, everything that detailed about the Ithorian comes from fan fiction and the Legends brand, which is pretty much the same thing now. Officially, there is nothing much known about them.

It's stinks for those that loved the old stories but on the other side of that coin we are discovering Star Wars again with real continuity thanks to everything (comics, games, books, films) working together this time.

And Disney cashing in even more than we can possibly imagine...

My name is Lando C,

and I am proud to be,

back here in Cloud City,

with my new IA family.

Bossk is incredible. Ridiculous defensively and he packs a punch, too. Lando is pretty great. Ugnaughts seem interesting, ISBs are cool. Love that we have a new beneficial condition that works defensively. Can't wait to see more about the Ithorian hero. That Wild Attack Command Card is awesome, too. Many figures will find a use for it, but imagine it on figures that already have 3 dice. Focused HK plays wild Attack, Blue Blue Yellow Green Red. Throw in Punishing Strike to add insult to injury. Shoot from a mile away, reroll a die, reroll dodges on that free white die, surge for extra damage twice and/or surge for Stun.

I really want to like the ISB infiltrators, but they just seem rather rubbish. They seem to want to be Saboteurs, same cost and deployment (and spies), but there is no comparison.

The action is interesting, but given it is restricted to the other unit on the deployment card it is completely useless once the other is gone. They also pretty much need to stay together to make it work and then they are easy points for your opponent. I am quite surprised that they aren't troopers, because at least then you could reinforce the group (well the rISB anyway) to keep them able to use the ability again.

I wonder if we will get a detached mini wave either before or after this set. What do you think it might have in it? Tauntaun and Dewback? That would be awesome.

I totally agree with ID X T, the ISB guys seems really weak, with a mediocre ability that vanishes as soon as one of them (very quickly) dies.

Though it seems the elites might have Surge: Hide, Focus which would make them better since they could use the action to set up the normal focussed attack. I also was only thinking from the skirmish side of things, they are substantially better when you can buy them in campaign. Also I have to admit, not having played Imperials in Campaign I don't know how giving them Trooper would interact there.

..but it also seem like they would have been better if there were 3 in deployment group to give the ability a bit more longevity.

They're a point less than troopers. Without the storm trooper's reroll they don't hit quite as hard but 3 BG attacks is still good, and 8 health + hide is arguably more durable than 9 health. I think they're a reasonably solid choice at 5 threat, I'd at least consider them over an eOfficer.

Wouldn't surge: hide give you hide and then you'd immediately lose it after you resolve the attack that gave it to you?

That is what my brother and I were wondering, because the Hero has the same issue.
