CNC Workshop Starship Model - Peregrine Y2k

By BalazarLightson, in Star Wars: Edge of the Empire RPG

****, this render of an upcoming starship model from CNC Workshop demands to land on my Star Wars gaming table.

There are some damned sexy pictures of the prototype build on their facebook page too.

It's cool looking, and incredibly well done, but... if that's a light freighter, it's extra heavy on the 'light.'

I mean, where do you put anything? Like, stuff. Or people. Or anything, for that matter.

Still, super pretty.

What about engines?

I’d like to see more views of that, before I decide whether or not I want it. But there are definitely some others that I’d love to have in my hands, either 3d-printed or CNC.

Check out their FB page for more images of the actual prototype model being constructed.

As for the design, yes, it's a light freighter, looks to have more freight space than the Falcon though. Not much living space, just one bunk and a refresher byut the look of the images, probably mircowave dinners and no real galley. It's not for long haul trips to backwater worlds where you have to bring all your own stuff.

I'm just sad it has been delayed because of some other projects CNC have been involved with, like a terrain kickstarter that is going ballistic and probably delay it at least another 6 months or so. Who knows what the price will be in the end too, probably upwards of AU$200 (~$140US)

OK, word back from the manufacturer says slightly over two months until release. They have been delayed by a big KS campaign they are doing for a new Steampunk Terrain line.

It would work fine as a cargo shuttle.
