I have been proxying a few Juke-heavy lists and I am not convinced by the Comms Relays. More often than not, I end up spending the Evade tokens at some point meaning you will have to perform Evade actions anyway. I guess they are good Rounds 1-2 when you can Evade as you close and then go into the first round of shooting with both an Evade and a Focus.

I would save the Comms Relays for ships you know you will want to be performing other actions (like OL).

With the points saved by dropping comms relays on the Omegas, you could upgrade OL or ZL to Carnor Jax. He is brutal with Juking ships as his ability affects all enemies at Range 1. OL only affects ships it has TLed and only against its own attacks. Carnor boosts everyone.

OL makes a great ship to drop into a mixed squadron but if you are looking to build a Jukebox list, I think Carnor brings more to the party.

I have played 4 TIE/fo's with Juke and Comm Relay a few times now and although they are really durable and fun to fly they still only bring the 2 dice... Zeta Leader is very good but for me Juke doesn't do as much for the others as I just can't seem to hit reliably with 2 red dice :) that might just be my bad luck ;) and the enemy is definitely going to avoid range1... If you are ok with the 2 red dice this list is very fun to fly! I have also tried Zeta with Hull Upgrade and 3 Omegas, two of them with Hull Upgrade. Even more durable :)

In my limited experience running Tie/FO swarms (or flying against FO swarms) I've found that the comm relay/juke combo works best when paired with either a high pilot skill FO or a low pilot skill FO with stealth device so that you aren't forced to burn the evade token for defense before you can use it on offense with Juke.

Comm relay and juke are overpriced unless you can shoot first or roll enough green dice that you "hopefully" don't need evade tokens for defense.

TIE Interceptors bother me for their lack of shields. That's my only complaint about them. The whole idea with the list is to get into range 1 for shots.

I think this list is superior:

Carnor Jax does two things:

1) he is a high priority target, drawing attention away from your jukesters.

2) obviously, his ability denies use of tokens, allowing juke to maximize damage output, especially if you get into range 1.

Damage output on the list is decent. You have 9 total red dice which is not bad, and with Juke it means your FO's are often squeaking 1 or 2 damage through, despite agility. Also, remember to grab target locks when you know one of your FO's is not getting shot at. Its always handy having a TL saved for when you get into range 1 and can also take focus.

Comm Relay + Juke is integral. Dropping the comm relay is a mistake, imho. First of all, it has the same power as a shield upgrade, and only costs 3 points. 2nd of all, its 'renewable' and is therefore the equivalent of regeneration. However, it has caveats. It only becomes equivalent to regen if you can refill the comm relay and not lose it immediately. The best way to do that is to move in such a way that the ship that has lost its evade token can take an action next turn and not get shot at (or as little as possible).

Another thing to consider: generally, your opponent will try to focus fire, meaning that only one ship loses its evade token when forced to spend it defensively (you have 2 others in the list who will still benefit from Juke, so that is still good value). Then, next turn, your opponent is likely to be more predictible (trying to set arcs on the ship he has stripped evade and/or dealt damage to). Use that knowledge to gain some positional advantage ;)
