I'm trying B/C symmetrical.

HlC,dampeners,predator, title,stealth device.

I am thinking of trying to swap one or both for A/D but it's only because ...so far...I'm not getting much use from the gunner effect and also so far the boost and free evade hasn't come up super useful either.

I'm not sure if hlc is best but I like it because I'm 4 dice in all the range bands, so I'm just doing wierd moves the first 2-3 turns to be ...well...wierd...then it's just" hard one in when they get close and point 8 dice at something. From there stay stressed doing white ones or whatever. It seems like brobots don't even need actions....just point the arcs together and fire away.

I'm not doing anything fancy really. Is this just that solid of a noob squad?

I feel dirty.....scummy even.

Sometimes you hit a squad that just sings for you.

Why feel ashamed? You found a ship that you like and a playstyle that works for you. Just go with it.

And if you feel scummy, then that just means you're doing it right.

How do you like sd over at? It seems whenever I use stealth device, it leaves pretty early

It seems to hold up for 2-3 turns. I just love ..LOVE...the extra dice.it feels more useful .I don't know if something else is Mathematically better. But it seems the most useful to me.

It comes from soontir fel for me. I always feel like SD is better than autothrusters. It's the range restrictions.

SD is temporary but works everywhere.

No one should feel ashamed about any squad in the game and if anyone makes you feel shame for flying a list, they are the d-bag, not you. If it's legal, you are free to fly it. Have fun!

I also would consider tweaking that list a bit since you're not using any systems slot at all and predator is a bit redundant with b though of course never a bad choice.

I love Ig-88 builds, 2 ships lists is where Omega Leader thrives!!!

Broadly speaking it isn't. You're just good at it.

Yeah..predator feels awkward. Half the time I choose not to use it hoping the primary attack misses.I can see it going away soon.

But I use it on the hlc shot...wait..is that even allowed...can I use predator on a hlc shot instead....

I was in the same boat, got them and loved them on my own, long before I found the forums. There are certainly more...efficient...combos than the ones you're taking names with, but I will spare you the net listing and just suggest you keep stalking the void until you stumble upon them on your own.

And don't rule out asymmetric setups. It goes against the common wisdom, but with the ever-widening options available you might cook up something that others haven't found or that jibes with your playstyle particularly well.

Dirtier than predator imo is fire control systems in that if your first shot sucks/is evaded you get free target locked second shot.

I disagree. If you're flying triple Trandoshan Slavers because you really love the name, you're probably a bad person.

And you can use it on both, it's not once per turn. It sounds like he's talking about opting not to use it on the first attack to be able to use it on the second.
