Fel's Wrath fix?

By atkrull, in X-Wing

Would Fel's Wrath be too good if his card read "when this ship is destroyed it is not destroyed unitl the end phase of the next turn." ???

Just thought the wrath should be a little more wrathful and I think this would do it.

Easier to let it make an extra attack at the end of the round its destroyed. Kinda like Corran's abillity.

"When deploying, you may immediately execute a maneuver straight to the nearest garbage can/rubbish bin and discard yourself. Then, choose another ship."

There has been a lot of discussion about him over the years and this idea has popped up from time to time. It makes him better, but get wonky with some of the core rules and newer upgrades.

Fel's Wrath doesn't need to be fixed. There are plenty of other Interceptors for competitive play and he works fine in narrative play.

His ability is to be dead. R.I.P

Why anyone gives this ship a second thought is beyond me. One of the worst pilots, hands down, and not worth the brain matter it takes to try to "fix" it. Play a Royal Guard instead and life will be much better.

Fel's Wrath fix. When Soontir Fel is in the squad list, Fel's Wrath costs 0 squad points. Fel's Wrath cannot be removed from play until Soontir Fel is destroyed.

And he would still be dead weight.

Lol.

Actually, a Reverse Biggs effect like that would be pretty terrifying.

He'd have trouble keeping up given his lack of ETP leaving him flying very differently to a PTL intercepter... but an untargetable 3-die attack is still an untargetable 3-die attack, and that's actually pretty cool.

Eh, if you really wanted it to be the way it should have been, Tel Trevura's ability is probably how Fel's Wrath should initially have been written.
