Regional Locations Posted

On another note - where are people learning about this news?

When I surf on over to the FFG news page, I don't see anything for Organized Play. Also, when I go to Products > Star Wars > Armada > the top news item is from February 2nd talking about the spring tournament kits.

On the Home Page, right at the bottom of the page there's a link to organized play. That's where I saw it.

Ah, yes, I see it there too.

It's strange that the 'News' page would not have all the latest news. This has been frustrating me for a little while now. I guess I should go to the home page from now on.

Is the list final? Our local store claimed they submitted for a Regional event but they are not on the list. If only select stores are chosen, how does the process work?

how does the process work?

Magic.

(As far as I am aware, FFG has never released their 'criteria' to the general public, only that they do have some method of criteria they adhere to...)

So I got board and made a google map of the locations. I may try to add more info to the map like face book events in the future. Let me know if this doesn't open right. It should be view only.

Yeah, not working for me. Doesn't really look like there's enough detail in the URL to uniquely identify your map, maybe something missing?

Cool idea, though!

It should be working now. The share button out of the map creation didn't work. I published it to the gallery and shared the link.

Better be a lot of you showing up for the Monroeville, PA Store Championship.

I'll probably be going to the West Virginia one. It's only two hours, which considering I did 1.5 to get to Store Championships, that's not bad. Monroeville is a long way away =)

Kinda surprised there's nothing in Wisconsin or the Chicago area ..... o well ... FFGC and probably Fargo for me.

Gonna try and get a road trip crew to WV. It is close enough to us to be feasible.

I probably won't be ably to make any Regionals. I may try for the WV one, but not sure.

The FFG staff hard at work deciding Regionals locations. . .

Well we got one at FFG. I'm also considering the reasonable drive to Fargo.

Would be great to have you! I didn't think we'd get one up here and I would have to make the 5 hour trek down there.

The process is the same one that QI uses to calculate scores.

Mr. Nice Guy Games is having a Store Championship as well as a regional?

I don't think you have the correct location for the Ohio one. The listing is for Springfield and where you've marked is not Springfield.

Edit: Though if you can figure out when / if Phantom holds theres, please let someone know?

Nope. Drawbridge and (allegedly) Phantom Greentree are your only ones.

Hadn't even the slightest inkling that Phantom had Armada events.

Is it still a mess getting out to Monroeville with the construction on 376?

Dunno, I havent been out that way in a bit. Tunnels are open so it shouldnt be too bad.

Fixed now.
