2016 Imperial Assault Regionals

By charliefilms, in Imperial Assault Skirmish

The one at Highlander Games & Comics in New Jersey, because...I live in NJ. Too bad there isn't one in NY or PA.

I cannot find anything about the tournament on the store site for Highlander games. I want to go, but not sure what I have to bring, prepare, etc. Also, if you bring your own stuff, what is the cost? Any help would be appreciated!

I will be the TO for the Regional at Dice Age Games in Vancouver, WA and would like to go up and play in the one in Tacoma if I can.

I can't find any info on their site yet either. I'm planning to just give them a phone call at some point in the near future. But it is encouraging that they clearly run a lot of different tournaments and regional qualifiers, etc.

The store itself will have to tell you the cost. I recall that my NJ regional last year (different store) was around $15-20 per person, and I had to bring everything: figures, all cards that I'd need, map tiles, tokens, dice, etc. It turned out that our store ended up providing pre-printed maps on vinyl, so that made things much simpler and more fun, but if they hadn't done that then I would've needed to pull out the tiles I had brought with me.

Oh, in that regard: I would highly suggest gathering the tiles that you'll need for the 3 legal maps...take those tiles with you to the event, and leave the rest at home. I've even pre-sorted my tiles as much as possible into separate bags for each map. During the tournament it'll save you a lot of time and, more importantly, mental effort.

Well, I sure would have liked to attend both the Armada AND Imperial Assault regionals in my area (San Antonio, TX).

Unfortunately, and for no reason I can figure out, they decided to schedule those on the same day in two cities an hour apart.

Thanks, guys.
