Every day I'm smugglin'

That's 12 activations.

I'm not going to buy any more smugglers, but this looks pretty silly. Might have to try it with proxy figures.

I recently purchased one smuggler ally pack online. Afterward I started to look at his deployment card and was thinking "maybe I should've bought 2-4 total". Anyone have any experience running one or a couple in a skirmish yet?

12 activations is insane, but it's only 14 figures total. My buddy has at least that much in his imperial trooper army

I'm interested on how it plays. I have 2 and i tried it. Sure its great for running to objectives and then running away but other then that kinda meh so far. The elite is too expensive and the reg is too crappy, only 4 move. The -2 acc rarely mattered since they are up front or trying to run into enemy deployment. Feels like we got a gimped officer.

Needs more play testing in my opinion. They'll be stronger in certain situations/maps than others.

The -2 acc is a big deal if you play them right. There's lots of units that vary wildly with range. I'd be using these guys as stun machines and to hunt down weaker back line units like officers, gideon etc...

They have huge melee kiting potential with good accuracy, stun and lots of extra movement.

The focus on the elite one takes his damage output from "meh" to "good". At 4pts I think he's priced well. At 2pts the regular ones are a bargain.

I wouldn't take a whole list of them as the damage output is way too low, but I'd always squeeze in 4 pts worth.

Pretty much the same reason I run 2 groups of Hired guns.

I really want to play them against hired guns. The -2 accuracy would be hilarious.

I've been looking at a Han, Chewie, and 4 Smugglers list. Seems fun.

I do wonder where the offense will come from though.
