2nds "core" only felt limited in regards to first , which had everything you needed in one book.
Seems they are trying to pack less and less in to each new edition, and suck more and more out of players wallets.
But yes, this does strike me as very much the wrong way to go, I hate multiple book/box rules sets. Put everything in one place, where I can find it easily.
As for 3rd....it has some interesting ideas, but the more I read of the details, the closer I get to canceling my pre-order....I won't but I can tell ya, if this core set disappoints it will be the 1st and last FFG product I'll ever buy.
That and the multiple character sheets seems just ....bleeeeh. That will be the 1st thing I "fix", I am not interested in little booklets.
