So was back in the day there were a lot of sci fi films that were star wars knock offs stealing plot ideas etc. the Best of them all has to be "The Man Who Saves The World" aka Turkish Star Wars. They basically dubbed a guy in a helmet in-front of several actual scenes from A new Hope........ try the first 5 minutes after that it just get to bad to watch

I watched this a few months back at the Alamo Drafthouse. It's one of the most ******* insane films I've ever seen, though I'd be lying if I said I didn't enjoy it at least a little.
Things randomly explode, there's countless shots of men jumping above the camera, a whole bunch of space footage stolen from the original Star Wars, and an evil wizard who can only be vanquished by the power of Islam and a sword that you must be lead to by Jesus. Oh, and they also stole the Indiana Jones soundtrack and play it very, very liberally throughout the film.
The heroes eventually melt down said Christ-blade to make golden gloves and shoes to increase their punching and jumping powers. I've always thought the characters would make wonderful pilot cards for funzies, especially since Murat and Ali fly TIE Fighters and are the good guys, while The Wizard commits his evil from a YT-1300.
At least it's not the special edition.
