trying to plan on how many ships i need and if they are all unique i only NEED 1 each..

Yes, there are generics of both. You can see them in the preview images.
Each has a range of unique pilots, plus at least one generic.
The VCX has a generic pilot and 3 unique pilots.
The attack shuttle has 4 unique pilots.
The G1A has 2 unique and 2 generic pilots.
Each ship also has a unique title that makes them the named ship as opposed to a generic G1A, VCX, or ATtack Shuttle.
It's unlikely you would ever want to run more than 1 VCX in a single 100 point list, though points do theoretically permit it, you could certainly run more than one Attack Shuttle or G1A.

Think of them as brobots with a few tweaks. 5k instead of Segnor's. Range 1 is more damage instead of less. Autoblaster death bubble instead of illicit slot. Hull and shields instead of green dice.
