[RPG] The Knights of Aidespar fan expansion

By Shadow070mni, in Legend of the Five Rings: The Card Game

During the earlish days of the 4th edition of L5R RPG, there was an undertaking to develop a western middle ages nation to interact with. It became a rather impressive setting and had enough ties to make cunning fans set up and take notice.

It went through many updates and tweaks. I did not contribute and honestly...I didn't even write down the hard worker who seemingly did it all.

But I did keep a copy.

Not ideal, but at least it will live on.

Oh, man! Excelent! I thought I had it saved in my computer as well and, when the forums collapsed, I discovered to my horror that I in fact didn't. This is great news indeed.

And I believe (but I'm not sure) that the author was ZeronHitaro or something like that.

That sounds like it is in the ballpark....I feel really stupid for not getting the name down.

Heck I didn't get the name of the guy doing "The 1,000 Fortunes Blessings" down either...and I tried to help with that one!

The blessings were the work of Akodo Akira, I believe.

YES! YES! Akodo Akira did do that project, with blessings and curses for each Fortune...

He had only just started the Dark Fortunes too...

That sounds like it is in the ballpark....I feel really stupid for not getting the name down.

Heh, no need to feel stupid at all. I only remember because I used the Knights of Aidespar project as a base to my own massive overhaul of the weapons and weapon skills.

And as Kinzen said, Akodo Akira was responsible for the 1000 Fortunes Blessings. Man, lots of good projects went down with the forums... I remember a project changing the entire school system by a german guy that I can't, for the life of me, remember his name... We should hunt down these people, somehow. Hahaha
