Ed's Mask of the Pirate Queen ICC

"Drezo. She said Drezo...." Enzo absentmindedly corrects Mayellen. "But yes, I think you're right about going after him first, at least to minimise any trail back up the chain." He pauses to smile at the Rodian. "Do you mind if we start with 'negotiation' and move on from there if necessary?"

After listening to Plo, Enzo nods thoughtfully. "I'd hope we don't need bigger guns, yet. A couple of grifters shouldn't be too hard for the three psychopaths." Turning back to Venlana, "Though we may need to hire a slicer, is it permissible to have an expenses account for services that ultimately prove productive to the investigation? On presentation of receipts of course," he says with his best charming smile and new shirt....

You just suggested my favourite type of negotiations.

I'm sure Mayellen and me can do just fine slicing wise if nessacary. But its probably a good idea to get professional silcing help if nessacary.

Your contact looks at the gun, smiles, and says It's not the size of the blaster, it's how you use it. As for where to upgrade, I don't care. I've provided you with a 500 credit taste. What you do with that is up to you. There are many different shops round here. You can get almost anything you need.

Turning to Plo Honestly, I can't think of who it could me. I just want to cut the head off this snake as soon as possible. If you find the worm in the fruit along the way, I may be willing to provide a bonus. To contact me, just use the same commcode and frequency I first contacted you under. That is secure enough to reach me.

Well, if you don't have any other questions for me, then I will let you be off. I bid you good luck hunting. Please stay in touch. She stands up, nods in a few vauge directions, then leaves the bar. After a minute, men and women at different tables also leave the bar.

If you want to hire a slicer, do an easy (one purple) checks. Tell me the type you want to do.

If you want to go fine Graf Lind, it's an average (two purple) streetwise or knowledge(underworld) check.

If you want to go find the fence, you can easily find him as he doesn't really hide his shop and it's regular business hours.

What would you like to do next?

OOC: Plo is off to find this Graf in hiding, the seedy ends of town are his preferred haunts. He will roll a AAPDD dice pool, anyone coming along and providing their assistance?

Ren will follow Plo and help him.(+1 Boost Die)

Ren and Plo head off into the grime of a poor district looking for Graf, asking the right questions here, seeing the right clues there. Quite quickly they find a young Twi'Lek who recognises their description they give "Yeah that sounds like Farg, he lives above the pawn shop just up the street. But this time of day he is probably in the back room of the Den, thats where the regulars drink and play the odd game of chance. Never says much old Farg, but he is nice enough. You can get in easily from the back alley, theres a guard but just tell him your there to see Derric the owner."

"Thanks" Plo replies then when the kid is out of earshot he says to Ren "That was easier than i thought, kids hey, never know when to shut up! Lets go"

"If he doesn't cooperate can I make him cooperate?" Ren asks as he walks down the alley, "Because I hate his type."

"Sure tough guy, you and your walking armoury can have some fun, just let me soften him up a bit first ok"

Mayellen pipes in "We could always use medicine to force him into compliance," she then draws her blade, "I know exactly where to cut for maximum pain, just get him restrained."

You easily find your way to Graf's door. Its a simple, sad house. The stink of sweat and stinging odor of raw alcohol assault your senses, causing your eyes to water at the door.

The next question is do you want to knock nice, knock hard, or make yourselves at home another way?

Knock Hard, but we probably split to cover any rear exits

Knock Hard, but we probably split to cover any rear exits

I say knock soft, we want him to panic after we restrain him.

Lol, ok.

Plo approaches the door and knocks politely, like a door to door salesman would... "Anyone home? Collections" (deliberately ambiguous)

"Do you have some time for our Lord and Savior?" Mayellen says loudly.

Plo chuckles quietly at that, easing his H7 in its holster.

Ren calls on the force and prepares to release a violent burst if energy:Blackout;1eF: 1 Light Side [1eF=LS]

f-ls.pngUsing Harm: 3 Damage and 1 conflict, I believe yes, or no, BIOtech66? He also readies his Vamp-blades.

Enzo looks at the three psychopaths, and for the hundredth time softly shakes his head. Wordlessly he strolls off to make sure there is no rear bolt hole. Well, that and he really doesn't want this guys blood on his new shirt. It is a really nice shirt, goes with the belt and everything.

You can prep as much as you like and get your force powers ready.

Knocking on the door, it swings open to a single room that is small and strewn with trash, debris, and empty liquor bottles. The center of the floor is dominated by a single sweat-stained mattress, and the only light comes in through the door you opened and a single dingy, flickering lamp. On the matriss is a passed out man missing a leg.

He wakes up groggily/drunkenly and says Who are you? Why you in my house?

"Get up old man, you have questions to answer"

"Please let me hurt him. Very, very badly." Ren says. As he releases his ball of force energy that he had built up stunning Graf. Ren also raises his vamp blades. Their metal glowing in the dim light.

"Hold on sonny, we need some information here, not made up rubbish from a tortured man"... "Graf, get up"

You begin to beat the man, grab him, and then drag him to his feet. He barely conscious at the best of times, and now he vomits across his crappy tunic. Sobbing, he says what....what do you want?

"Information man, we need information. Now we have it on good word that you once worked for the Veiled Sorority, when you left them they tried to have you killed... clearly that didn't work out for them, and we need to know what you know that makes you worth killing. The way i see it is your in our hands now, that could work out nicely for you, what with the size and reach of the Zan Consortium, you could find yourself a nice little retirement fund on a quiet backwater planet. Or your old friends could find you... Talk!"

"Your soul..." Mayellen says to scare the crap out of him further, "Actually what we really want is everything you know about the Sorority, you better start talking, because I start cutting," She says as she pulls out her knife, and begins cutting long, slow and deliberate cuts, hoping to bleed the information from him...
