It would be easy to make a quest vault competition. .. just offer some free expansions... offer dates... test the likes... etc...

What do you think?

While I feel like this thread would fit better in the quest vault discussion forum, I think this is a great idea. I'd love to see the quest vault get more activity, and something like this seems like a great way to encourage people to get to know it.

Thanks... I feel this thread belongs there too... but I agree that not enough people know about the quest vault or how simple it is to use. I wanted to post this in general discussion to see if anyone would even look at it.

There have been some awesome quests made in the quest vault but I get the feeling that it isn't that popular... I see so many threads comparing decent, to rpg's and all of that... one of the great activities of being a DM was making your own adventures....

I would love to see a quest vault promotion in the form of a create a quest competition... I bet that awards as simple as a hero and monster pack or Lt pack.....

I'm not sure whether it's a lack of traffic, a lack of feedback, or a lack of quality. For example, I posted a pdf of my custom campaign to the files section on boardgamegeek, and it's got almost 250 downloads, but none of the same quests in the vault has more than 8-10 likes. That could be because no one visits the vault, or because no one who visits clicks the like button. I don't know which because there's not a download counter in the vault.

In any case, I think it's a wonderful tool, and it really is very simple to use.
