Hey, glad you have decided to use my favourite Admiral - Lord Vader himself! The dark lord of the Sith's rerolls are perfectly suited to red (unreliable) and black (high damage potential) dice heavy ships. Therefore, I find him a great combination with the following ships:

ISD-1, VSD-1, GSD and Raider-I

I am also a bit nervous about only using 2 ships in a list. It is very easy to get tabled and you lose the activation game (opponent can see your moves before moving his ships at risk of flying into your best firing arcs) Personally, I would prefer 2 ISDs with fewer upgrades and a Raider/GSD to help get three activations. A handful of TIE fighters (4 stands) seems to work well as a speed bump and doesn't cost many points.

If you want the two ISDs (1 and 2) with Vader I might suggest:
