Guri List Variations

The first list is the list I used to get my best tournamnet finish of 3rd a few months ago

Guri - Predator, Autothrusters, Sensor Jammer & Title - 40

3 x Cartel Marauder - 60

But I'm thinking of putting Palob in there to help take some tokens away from the Poe's and Fel's I'll likely face:

Guri - Predator & Autothrusters - 35

Palob - Ion Turret - 25

2 x Cartel Marauder - 40

Is dropping the Sensor Jammer on Guri and trading a Kihraxz for a HWK with Ion a good swap?

Personally I think Sensor Jammer does even better with Palob.

Ion is handy to help keep Guri in range one.

I'd build around these 2 ships which means you'll need to drop another Marauder for a Z and have 3 points left over. Maybe a feedback array on the Z to further help with those tricky Fels. Or perhaps some crew or title for your HWK.

I'm about to try a similar list but I've got Kavil with Autoblasters, VI, EU, unhinged as well as Moldy on my HWK. I'd love to know any tips you have with Guri before I unleash the beast myself.

Haven't got the Most Wanted pack yet, I'm borrowing the HWK for the tournament. So have no Z95 or Scum Y-Wings.

With regards to Guri, I generally have her off to one side of my Kihraxzs. If my opponent goes for the Kihraxz's then Guri will slam into the flank. Then I try and keep her at range 1, hopefully dodging the arcs of any generics. High PS aces are tricky tho!

I agree that Guri w/ sensor jammer + Palob is excellent. It turns Palob into a scummy biggs, because the only way to hurt Guri is to take Palob off the board first (this gives you an advantage, knowing whom your opponent has to target to win). So, given what you have available to you, I would say just stick with your original list.

Guri and Talonbane hit like trucks especially when they are targeting someone who has had their tokens stripped away by Palob. With wingman, not only does Palob pull off enemy focus/evade tokens, he also removes stress from my friendlies.
