If you find a card on the list that you have never been interested in taking in competition because it seems too inefficient or too situational, consider the point value that would convince you to try it in a competitive squad and write in that value.

E-wings are too expensive, no sharp 1 turns, no boost. They can't arc dodge. Pretty much just an expensive X-wing with a straight five maneuver and a system mod. They die too easy with the 2 hull especially with all the face up damage card attacks. The 3 evade doesn't help them much when they have such a hard time getting out of arc. I have 2 in my collection and never use then. Come down to weak defenses and takes up half of the 100 points you get to use to build a squad.

E-Wings are all overpriced by 2-3 points when you start comparing them to T-70s. Horn's ability is so magnificent, however, that he still gets plenty of action even at his price point. Etahn's ability is also very nice until you realize how much you're paying for a ship with a support ability.

I don't think that would be enough. I see no reason you'd ever take them over a T-70, as for the same price you get similar stat lines, better Pilot Skill, and access to Integrated Astromech and Autothrusters. And an EPT on the Red Squad Veteran.

The generics are severely hampered by both price and PS.

The ship could do with an EPT generic at PS4 or 5.

As is, the generics should drop about 2 points.

About 3 over priced. Red Squad vet has EPT, more HP, boost, PS4, and similar dial for 26pts.

I've really wanted to love e wings for a while and I just cant. Theoretically with a a point reduction and something else they could become the glass cannon version of the t70. I have no idea what that is, but when you compare red ace and poe to corran, the former are much more defensive while corran has some high burst damage. I'd like to see whatever e wings get mirror that distinction.

I find it difficult to reduce the cost of Corrans pilot card ... even if I think the E-Wing is about 3 points over.

Just give them the Tie Advanced title and they are fine - because you don't want to fly them naked anyways.

Having them around with free Sensor Jammers would be sick.

Given that Corran would still want to use FCS, this treatment would reduce him by 2 points in total; the others by 4 (Sensor Jammers) or 3 (Advanced Sensors) points.

E Wings... GENERICS : 3 pts free to invest on upgrade cards. Only System, Droid or Ordnance

ETHAN : 2 pts free

CORRAN : no bonus pts

IMHO, E wings are second in charisma only to A,B,X,Y the four warhorses depicted in eps 4-6. As the natural evolution of As and Xs, cool models BSG style, firepower 3 plus Agi 3 plus System slot plus 3 shields plus.... Too expensive. I.like Es, my friends likes Es...nobody likes their cost. And the abyss between Corran and low scum generics... PS 1 and 3. A bad Joke.

So a little change in point value, PS 5 generic with EPT, and lets rock.

Am I the only one who thinks integrated astromech should have been allowed on E-wings too? It wouldn't have been a complete fix, but it would've helped Etahn and the generics suck less.

And yes, I know that would make Corran even *more* powerful with R2D2, but that could easily be remedied with something that restricted it to 3 point or less astromech.

I think protecting R2-D2 from being blasted would be something of a oddity, theme-wise.

Fluffwise it would be weird though, as the Astromech is fully enclosed within the ship.

I'm the big Corran player in my LGS, and I must say he's my favourite guy to fly, even if he does explode more than I'd like. Everytime I fly something different I think, 'I wish Corran was here'.

So Corran is fine with me, but he NEEDS PTL, EU to be worthwile for the arc dodge and the fact that everyone in my club flys aces so PS 8 is too low!

Any other E-wing, sack it off, why take them over almost anything?

The old and boring x wing drama...Named are so good that Generics are so weak. Unless you swarm with cheap models. This is a problem, but not exclusive of the E.

A T-70 switches a green die for a hull point, loses the Systems slot (the tech slot is no comparison), gains Evade, loses a Pilot Skill and switches Boost to Barrel Roll. I can definitely see the argument for taking a 24 point E-wing, but it wouldn't kill the T-70 at the same price. Which is how it should be really.

I think Corran should be left alone. He's still very good. People are just using Poe now more because he's new.

Etahn at 30 seems good. His ability is pretty powerful, but his price tag keeps him from seeing the table regularly.

I agree with every one that the E-wing and T-70 generics should be the same price.

In a vacuum, I would say these should be the prices. But when you include B-Wings, T-70s and T-65s into the mix and now you are competing in a very tight 21-25 point range, the magical Rebel 4-ship build. Therefore you should not be able to buy a decent E-Wing for less than 26 points. There's no real TIE Interceptor / Defender split here. I think the E-Wing should be able to do *more* than the T-70, so rather than price fixing it, give it some extra stuff for free.
