So one of the guys I fly against has been using Red Ace quite a bit, and at a local store championship this last weekend, he brought him along. I watched him fend off 5 Z-95s for 5-6 rounds with only Red Ace remaining. So this got me thinking that maybe Red Ace could be a great wingman for Han.

I think that Red Ace is more tanky than Poe, but it may not have the offensive punch needed to be a large enough threat. Does anyone have thoughts or improvements?

I'm becoming more interested in Red Ace lately myself. I'm finding it harder, though, to justify running the Falcon anymore. A TLT list will have him off the table in a couple rounds with no real chance of Han dropping a Ywing by that second round. I used to love the YT-1300 but lately, with half points rules, its hard to justify when 2-3 ships with more offensive power could easily replace it.

That Red Ace though...

He is a beast to shoot down. But just why pair him with just Han?
