Dice Roller APP

By Darksyde, in Star Wars: Edge of the Empire RPG

I was looking at the dice roller app and was wondering if anyone knew if it will work in the chrome app? I don't have any android or Ios devices.

Which one? The one that works in Google Hangouts? Well, if you’re not using Google Hangouts, then I doubt that one will work.

There’s another one that’s supposed to be hosted at game2.ca which is broken, because that site is down. But there’s another link in the forums as to where you can find the code for that so that you can run it locally in your browser.

The die-roller released by FFG runs fine on both android 4 (ICS, Jellybean, and Kitkat) and 5 (lollipop). I suspect it should work on 3 (honeycomb)... the play store page says it works with 2.3 (gingerbread) and up.

I've had no problems with running it on my tablets, and none of my friends have had issues with it on phones.

It is, however, not networked.

And the iOS app from FFG works fine on all iOS devices that I’ve seen.

It is also not networked.

You may also try out an online roller I've made :). It's a bit slow on the very first page load, but that's because it's running on a free developer instance.

Very nice!

Edit: one nice thing about the orokos roller is it tracks your rolls after you register. So if you're having an online game, you can see how many times somebody rolled to get their result.. :)
