Push the Limits, Advanced Sensors, 1 Action or 2? Red Maneuver Afterward?

Hi folks,

The title pretty much sums it up. I have PTL and AS on a given ship.

Advance Sensors says I can preform "one FREE action before the dial is revealed." At this point can I use my other "FREE action" granted by PTL?

Also, if I can do 2 actions, with the AS, thus getting a Stress token, and I have already locked in a red maneuver, am I now forfeiting my dial to let my opponent choose a green or white maneuver? (that is the penalty right?)

I am guessing that you can use PTL during the AS timing window, but then if you have a green maneuver locked in, you clear the stress, right?

Lots of questions, sorry. I TRIED searching "push the limits and Advanced Sensors" but came up with a million threads that did not deal with this situation!

You can trigger PTL off of Advanced Sensors. However, if you then attempt to execute a red maneuver you've dialed an illegal move and must hand your dial to your opponent.

If you execute a green maneuver, you will indeed clear the stress.

Yes, you can trigger PTL off Advanced Sensors - allowing you do take an action, then use PTL to take an action from your action bar. This will give you a stress.

If you've set a red manoeuvre, your opponent gets to pick a non-red one for you to do, so don't do it. If you've set a green one this clears the stress from PTL/AS.

What Blue Five said. Also, yes, if you AS->PtL and then execute a green maneuver you'll clear the stress from PtL.

Hey thanks for the super quick response everyone!

I have seen the load out in a squad or two, and I figured, that is how it worked, just looking for confirmation.
