Recently im in love with Omega Leader, so i was thinking about full FO swarm:

4x Epsilon Squadron

Omega Leader /Juke

Epsilon Ace

Sooo did any1 tried FO swarm yet? In comparison to normal TIE swarm you sacrifice 1 only. Yes i know you lack Howlrunner here but you got semi-ace squezeed in in form of Omega. Are those shields and better dials worth this 1 ship less?

Without comm relay, OL doesn't have the action efficiency to do much work. If you don't find room to fit it in, there's not much point in running OL...

I love the FO. That shield, that dial, that S-loop and the comm relay just makes them better as far as I'm concerned. I don't miss Howlrunner personally, and I'm likely one of the few out there who feels she shackles you too much to your formation.

The FO is a decent formation flyer, but also does quite well on its own. The last bunch of games I've played have all included Omega Leader, and he's an absolute superstar - a definite standout in the crowd.

I would have to swap Epsilon Ace with Wampa and that kills my theme No, seriously im concerned about it too. my idea was to just fly in formation spray some shots unmodyfied while TL really juicy target. Then next turn he can start his jukes. But yea that is very valid point.
