Dark Elf Corsairs and Warp Shield

A question arose on our yesterday game. If there is a tzeench cultist protected by a warp shield (can't be killed in this battle), does it protect him from dark elf corsairs (at the end of battle, destroy a figure)?

From an email directly from FFG. It is supposed to be in the FAQ the next time they update it.

Q) Does a Warp Shield protect you from Dark Elf Corsairs? DEC "removes" a figure at the end of the Battle Phase (instead of the OW resolution step in phase 6). WS protects a figure from being "killed" during battle. Does "remove" and "kill" mean the same thing?

A) Since remove and killed are distinct and different game terms, Warp Shield does not protect from Dark Elf Corsairs
