What's left to spoil? (Wave 8)
That matches my list. I don't think there's anything else.
Really curious on Overcharged Agro.
The R4 Agro gives you a TL after you spend a Focus, so you would think that it would be a more powerful version of that.
When attacking, after you spend a focus token, all friendly ships range 1-2 may acquire a TL on the defender. Then discard this card.
Edited by Jo JoMy guess is a discard ability that bumps your offense somehow.
Yep, minor stuff but still some surprises to be had. It's hard to imagine what the thermal detonators will do.

My money is on them exploding.
Wave 9...

maybe they cause a weapons disabled token because they're too hot to fire.
If they did, the set would come with one. Like it comes with extra shield tokens for the Gonk crew.
I'm thinking extra attack dice for a cost (2 stress, maybe a damage?)
Maybe Thermal Detonator is a Remote Bomb? Dropped with dial reveal and range 1 of token like a normal bomb, but DETONATED with an action. Use it to plop on a pursuing ace and detonate before they can skidaddle (at the cost of your own action) or just leave it on the field as a general menace. Both would mesh well with the one-ship, low pilot skill, no bonus EPT nature of the Ghost.
It's one of the few mechanics (stress bombs being the other) they haven't really toyed around with in the relatively limited design space of 'exploding spheres in spaaaaaaaaace'.
Edited by DerFrownmacherI REALLY want to see the dual upgrade rule card. I wish that had been spoiled as part of the "final preview" that centered on Crewba-fett
Add to the list the full explanation for the tractor beam & TB token mechanism
The point cost for the PS 3 and 5 G-1A is huge for me. I'm hoping I can run two G-1As and two Starvipers with room for some upgrades.
And a faq regarding whether or not we can stack tokens on gonk

They really seem fond of the "Hurt yourself so you can hurt your opponent more" mechanics in this wave. Electronic Baffle follows that theme, along with the crew versions of Chopper, 4-LOM and Zuckuss. I'm guessing the Overcharged Agromech follows the same lines.

That's been spoilered already.

The packaging. I want to tear it open and get my hands on those beautiful, beautiful Scum ships.

well seeing as how they gave an extra allotment of shields in the package i would believe that to be the case.

Do what the rules say, and don't do what they don't say.
What about the rules for Gonk--that is, the card text--leads you to believe there's a limit to the number of shield tokens?
Considering Sabine always goes on board another ship to use her Thermal Detonators (and spraypaint)... at least in space... it would be cool if you had to overlap another ship to apply the Thermal Detonator (as a free action). Basically giving crew enough time to run on board the other ship and do shenanigans to plant the explosive and get out. But now it is getting to wordy for a single card, so, I guess we'll have something that floats in space and does damage and ignores the cinematic action...
Chopper is so good I can't imagine many people taking the generic VCX even if the price is 33 or 34.
I reckon Thermal Det will be a stress bomb like the Ion Bomb. That way we have all types:
Seimic - deal a damage
Proton - deal a crit
ion - deal an ion token
Thermal - deal a stress
Then you just release the Mag Pulse missiles/bombs and hand out weapon disabled tokens.
Things left to spoil: an updated FAQ to deal with the ton of questions that we'll have or will come up in tournaments. I like to think that I'm up to date on most of this stuff, but there are subtle interactions that are just bound to pop up over and over again.

Odd question about Gonk. If somehow given an extra action during a turn (say via Experimental Interface or Squad Leader), could a player have Gonk both prep a shield, and restore it to the ship, in a single turn? In other words, can both of Gonk's separate actions be used in one turn, or can an action from Gonk only happen once in a turn (choose one or the other, but never both)? I'm inclined to the latter, as Gonk has two separate Action lines. A lot like how an X-Wing can use both Focus and Target Lock in a single turn, these are two separate actions on a single card.
Your opinions?

I hope you can!!!!! I would imagine so as they are different Actions, but being on the same upgrade card gives me a shred of "but maybe not"
fly with 4-LOM Gonk EI
Gonk (gain shield)
EI
GONK (regen Shield)
end of combat pass off stress
